It's Harbaugh and staff who don't like Mays. Baalke probably doesn't like Mays, and has never liked Mays, but if Harbaugh loved him, they would have kept him.

To me this trade fits into the "something is better than nothing" category. He probably would have been cut, so any draft choice is better. The higher the better, but I'm thinking a 4or5.

We didn't get any trade picks for Clayton or Sheets, I think we made out pretty well for a horrible draft pick by SIngletary.

I got no hate for the young man, but he was a terrible college player that we drafted way higher than his skill level dictated. HGH USC workout warrior, absolutely zero safety skills. No one wants a safety that doesn't wrap up and can't cover. That is no one except the bungles...

In 6 months this will all barely be an after-thought.

In a year or two Taylor will probably be playing in the UFL or becoming a professional bodybuilder.

it is the bengals... cant put it past them. But probably like a 5th or 6th that bumps up to a 3rd or 4th if he hits certain incentives.

Teams were obviously interested which is why he saw limited action but yet was saying all the right things. Probably got told he was basically as good as traded and they were just fishing for the highest bidder, so dont get injured.

Didnt cincy get roy williams a couple years ago... now they have his clone.
