the 9ers pass rush is not bad this year like everyone is making it out to be. 7th in the nfl in sacks prior to the ATL game. peppers would be nice but def not for a 1st round pick maybe a 2nd round pick. lb/de isn't the problem on this team it is OL if we had a dominate or even a very good OL this team would be a whole different team.

Didn't Peppers say he didn't want to play in a 3-4 D this off-season????
He isn't worth a first rd pick anyway. What if he didn't re-sign with us after the season? Then we wasted a first rd pick on a guy that didn't even play a full season.
Not to mention he'd be learning a new defense and new position in the middle of the season.

Actually he said he's intrigued by the 3-4 and would love to play in it. (Google: peppers 3-4 defense) And every other point you've made has been made at least twice on all ten pages of this topic. I started this thread but would love to see it locked b/c all that can be said has been said 100 times..

peppers is a FA next yr and there is no way Carolina is going to tag him again way too much money. This my friend is a trade only the Raiders would make
