I think we should take the player we feel best about early in the draft. If that's cooper, take him. If that's howell, take him. just take a high quality football player. I dont like taking these insanely raw players cause they're athletic. take players that can play at the NFL level right now.
My guess - that would be Cooper or KC.
I suspect we will try to trade back though. Pick up additional picks or some for next year.
My preference is to trade for Myles Garrett. lol outside of that, I just hope we get an impact player.

You're making the pick at #27, who do you take?

At 27, the best football player, who might be there, is Avieon Terrell.
Draft him, and move Stout to FS?

One small trade back to #30 would net us a 2027 3rd.
Use that 2027 3rd to trade for Jessie Bates III to immediately start at FS.
I dont think Lynch wants to draft a S in the first couple rounds.

I like him a lot too - initially thought too early to draft him at #27 but I've changed my mind after watching him play like a possessed beast

I heard the 2027 draft is stocked and almost no one is trading 2027 picks.

this is a weaker class overall honestly so it likely means next years may be loaded especially at QB

Nobody knows for sure if next years draft class will be better or worse. Things can change in one year. Injuries happen. Players regress. Now we also hav ethe NIL factor where players stay an extra year in college rather than enter the draft. Players from this year may end up outperforming their projections. The draft is always a guessing game.

Who do we draft? BAP…If we don't go BAP which is almost a given, I'm leaning towards a LB perhaps CJ Allen.

Just take the damn BAP, if it's a cb take him. Just take a good player who played well in college and has the athletic measurables. Enough of drafting for need, but I bet they're going edge

I seriously doubt there is a clear cut BPA at pick 27. Most teams will probably have 5-10 players rated very similar so the pick will gravitate to position of need as it should. Can't draft a corner who you has a 8.70 grade when an edge rusher is sitting there with a 8.65 grade.

i doubt they will be i think they are 20 first round players. The next 30 you could literally make an argument for
I do think intrestingly there are 3 S (Downs, Thiensman, EMW) all have first round grades by most peoples evaluation. And although S is seen as not a premium position it is a need and it would fit for BPA. Also seems to be talks of Tyson dropping and he would easily be BPA. He probably goes in top 5 if he didnt have injury concerns
