DT Landon Robinson Navy

I think Seattle is going to be all over Landon. There are a lot of similarities between him and Byron Murphy as athletes. I started to see the parallels after pointing out how good they both are at knee dropping double teams.

Military academy players are required to serve 2 years active duty before they can play in the NFL. Between 2019 and 2024 that rule was waived but starting this year it was changed.

Limited Exceptions: The Department of Defense may authorize up to three cadets or midshipmen per service academy to defer active duty for professional sports, though they must still meet stringent requirements.

Yes it's possible but what are those stringent requirements?

They have to play in gold Trump brand cleats.

I'm almost certain we won't be drafting him now with the Osa trade

Ultimately, we have no idea where Landon will go. It's more likely that he's overlooked just based on what Adrian said than he's drafted earlier than expected.

I had a vision: Landon and Osa racing to the QB from the inside.

And Landon actually splitting a double to help us STOP THE RUN.

I'll take him at #127.

So would I. Problem is he won't be there; I'll say that right now

agreed, hes going rd 2 or very early 3.

We will see. Tons of great players in the 50-75 area so I think he's a late round 3 guy at the earliest.

then we snag him!

Well, 7th rounder by Bengals. Draft grades are simply not set in stone.
Dominated in the preseason from start to finish and finished as the highest graded IDL and led the entire league in sacks+pressures. Then made the team. Let's see if he can keep it going. 😎

Watched a few of his Navy games last year and was impressed each time. Disruptor in the middle despite facing double teams often. Was hoping the Niners would draft him with their last pick late in the 5th. Really hoping the guy they did pick, Cruz, develops and becomes at the very least a solid backup OT.

So frustrating
Landon had a lot of awesome reps, but this one stood out to me because I don't remember him using a cross chop(Aaron Donald's favorite move) in college. It looks like he picked up a thing or two from the GOAT while they were together. 👀man, Landon is so difficult to stop once he's working half man and moving. Dude is like a fire hydrant on wheels. The guy is too damn low, quick and stays on his feet once he's moving. Excited to see if he can keep it going into the regular season because being good in the preseason is one thing, but the regular season is a different monster.
