DL: 2026 Draft Class

Idc who we get as long as he's a stud. Lol just get someone who can be a 7 or so year long piece. We've really sucked at drafting d line outside of Bosa and that trend needs to change. We need difference makers.

i believe Atlanta had 2 rookie pass rushers this year that looked good. Would be great. I think our d line will be in a good place with Bosa. Second year Mykel/collins/West. Add in a solid veteran FA and a nice young piece. That could be a much better d line that I think most are expecting.

im really optimistic about the second year jump for some of our young guys.

i think now we need some depth i think Williams looked great before the injury and Collins and West also played very wel but now we need some solid depth. Especially at DT position we need a strong rotation to keep guys fresh i think it will help with load managment and injuries too

I am really liking Mesidor or Parker at 27 both are good at rushing the passer and can hold there own in the run. We can have a good roation going and in nickel situations we can move Williams inside and i think that could be deadly

I definitely have more watching on the class and hoping most of these guys workout at the combine to give more info but really digging Zion Young so far.

For sure. I watched the Falcons' defense from this season, and I'd be surprised if the 49ers don't go after more guys in that traditional 34 mold. Morris does a lot with his stand up ends in coverage, twists/stunts, sim pressures, etc.

I got to be honest: Cashius Howell has grown on me a lot the last few days after I did a dive on his tape as well as him as a person. That's a straight up dawg on the field. He plays with an edge, urgency and intensity that the 49ers' defense line is lacking. His stock is up with the Morris hire.

Have you watched R Mason Thomas?

I would like Mesidor or Moore. They desperately need to add a consistent edge rusher across from Bosa along with a true 3T.

Love Mesidor. Moore scares me a lot as a prospect. Maybe I'm in the minority but game tape shows he lacks good enough burst and agility for his game to translate to the NFL. I think he's a 4th rounder that will likely go in the 3rd round.

I forgot to follow up after I finished watching RMT. Wow, this guy is f**king electric! I'm a BIG fan after watching his tape. He's definitely favorite edge so far that's realistic for the 49ers.

If it wasn't for the history of injuries, I'd take him all day at 27.

he is an amazing speed rusher and has great bend but is a bit on lighter side and doesn't have the long arms. I wouldn't say thats exactly a red flag but he may end up being a bit one dimensional but be extremely good at it.

Great moror and great in pursuit though he is fun to watch

II'll depend greatly on how much schematic freedom we trust Raheem with

Notable that 49ers have previously drafted a Missouri EDGE with DUI history...
Zion Young is such a Kris Kocurek pick.

Yes he is, I have a feeling young will go crazy at the combine and be drafted top 15- 20 tho, his size speed and power remind me of the 1 and only Aldon Smith.
