See, you're making me not want to devote time to the draft because you're right and we all know it. 49ers will go with a safe "need" pick in round 1 and then the irrational reaching will begin on day 2 for guys that most people projected as day 3 picks.

I am totally fine with Mesidor being 25 years old. Byron Young was 25 and I don't think the Rams regret that pick.

Parker will need a trade up, Mesidor would be a very solid pick up regardless of age.

If we go WR/OL in round 1 I could see a guy like Joshua Josephs being a target in round 2. We love DE's with massive wingspans who are strong against the run and get substantially more pressures than actual sacks.

That's what they were hoping for when they drafted Williams. He has the size but needed experience in the Niners system.

Yeah I haven't either, but I like what I've seen from Moore….bleacher report is viewing him as a day 2 prospect.

Nice, I was watching Moore last week, and I thought he reminded me a bit of Jared Verse. Not as good as Verse against the run, but a little better as a pure rusher. Builds, strengths and rush style very similar. I think this is the type of edge the 49ers should be targeting if they're scouting DPRs. Someone who is already a good pass rusher that can come on the field when Mykel goes inside but also has the potential to develop into an all-around player.
