Great player. I would be very happy with the pick. There's a ton of like about Mesidor, but I wish he was there was more power to his game, especially for a guy who weighs as much as he does.

Obviously, the age is a real concern. He'd be an outlier to succeed as a first-round pick at his age. Then there's the problem that he'd be old as f**k relative to other first-round picks when it's time to pay him.

The lack of power (and really any standout physical trait) is concerning considering hes in his physical prime vs younger kids, but hes got everything at at least a serviceable level, and advanced technical ability. I would be happy at 27, but i wouldn't be expecting him to a player to massively raise the ceiling of our defense (not that you were saying he would.)

I'm going to be sad if the 49ers don't grab someone. There will absolutely be guys that can help them get after the QB on day 2 with some possibly falling to the beginning of day 3.

The scary part is that this regime usually tries to be the smartest guy in the room. In past years when we all thought it was a deep OL class; they select anything but. Deep secondary class; anything but, so on and so fourth. I am left scratching my head in every single draft. We'll see

Yeah but in that deep OL draft that came away with a damn good RG (when healthy). Green imo was a good pick. I just think he needs to be used a certain way.

if there's a position they don't really pass up on it's DL. I might agree with all their picks at DL, but they throw draft capital it at pretty frequently. I'm expecting the same this yr

Lynch talks about the DL so much would not be shocked if Kayden McDonald was the pick at #27. Could align with BPA.

If Cooper Jr is gone I hope McDonald or Ibeanachor is the pick if we cannot trade down into the 30s.

Trading down to the 30s is the best option imo as we can get 2-3 extra picks and now can draft one of

1. Rodriguez
2. Lawrence
3. Pregnon
4. Iheanchor (could still be there)
5. McDonald (could still be there)

It is almost an auto trade down to anywhere in the 0
30s if the value is there in compensation.

If Cooper Jr is our guy dont think we are waiting for him to drop to 27 and if on the board at 22-24 we are jumping the Bills and the Bears to take him before they likely do.
You all paying attention to edge Gabe Jacas? Dude dominated against top-level competition for the Illini this past season. Learning from Bosa would unleash this beast.

Yeah braddah I'm a fan of Jacas. This class has so much depth; it would really be a damn shame if we don't dip into it multiple times.
Mid round guy we spoke with, Nathan Voorhis
