DL: 2026 Draft Class

Guy not at combine, could be nice mid round pick. Caden Curry, DE, Ohio State. Great motor. Great production. 66 tackles, 16.5 TFL, 11 sacks in 2025.

Saw somewhere that no DE with sub 31 inch arms has ever made a pro bowl.

I thought Mason Thomas measurements were pretty decent.

The combine workouts have lost a lot of their importance since so many players now skip parts or all of them and do pro day workouts instead. GMs are finally realizing that these guys train just to get faster or stronger and it's not a true reflection of what they do in games. They even practice the interviews so you can't trust those either.
A lot of small guys in one way or another. The guys who fit every measurable will be long gone by 27 anyways so it's always like this. That's when we rely on the team to just find football players.

Yikes.

So he dropping due to TRex syndrome too?

Doubt he drops much, he's talented and you can only draft whomever is available in the draft. I think I saw somewhere that there was only two EDGES drafted since 1999 with shorter arms. Howell's even worse

this was known about him he will still go top 10 at worst likely still top 5

They can't skip measurements though.

I know he has injuries, but id take him. He looks like a wrecking ball in the middle which we need.

Javon Kinlaw
6'5 1/8
324
10 1/2 hand
34 7/8 arm
83 3/4 wing

...just saying

Kinlaw injuries specifically knee injury is what was his problem

Im taking banks in first round depending what we do in FA he is just an athlethic freak and i love the length he will be perfect as a 3T i think his athlethic testing is going to be off the charts

i still cant get over his tape against LSU last season

A foot injury for a 330lb man is not nothing either. Both players were raw as s**t. His pad level and hand usage is pretty terrible overall. Someone will take him before 27 anyway.

Beat me to it. Foot injuries to big dudes are scary. I'd love to add him to the team to see if he can hit his potential but we only get one first round pick and our roster isn't in position for chasing potential. Need guys who have shown consistency on tape IMO.
