Every Super Bowl winning team has had a game changing Safety from Ed Reed to Rodney Harrison to CJ Gardner-Johnson to Nick Emmanwori. I can't wait to see the 9ers get a Safety like those mentioned.

He was a real liability in coverage. One f the most overrated players in recent history. If the team thought highly of him, they'd have paid him.

Yeah and the guys who replaced him are real upgrades in coverage lol. Weird to be overrated as a first team all pro and then what; be overrated again by being an all pro with the new team? They sure thought highly of him and made him the very first or second safety to be paid in free agency and I don't think the Broncos or its fan base have any complaints about the decision.

They thought highly of Aiyuk and paid him instead…….hows that working out for us?

Hufanga was good, and had a solid 2023 season. But he was injury prone missed a lot of tackles because he was trying for the knockout punch instead of wrapping up. Tell me what did he do in the Super Bowl?

You'd be surprised if I brought up who missed more during Huffs tenure here.

And you really gonna ask that question about the Super Bowl? So lame. We can ask that same question about many of the "star" players.

If Huff is injury prone; then so is Bosa, Kittle, Purdy, Trent, and we can go on and on…..guess that qualifies them as not being great players by your standard too huh?

Lmfao getting all defensive, stop it. Hufanga has been good but again he didn't really do anything after that one season. Sure he got what 3 or 4 picks the next season but almost half that season he was absent. Lynch didn't re-sign him hmm I wonder why?

Edit: check you out, I'm talking Safeties and Hufanga and you start dropping all kine names.

We going act like Lynch no make mistakes now? Guess who he did resign for like triple what he could've got Huff back for???

Dropping all kine names cause you used injury prone as a reason Huff wasn't great; does that only apply to safeties or something??

Don't think anyone has mentioned Jalen Kilgore in this thread. CB conversion who would be a great option early on day 3

This guy has been my favorite for a while. Had been thinking we could get him in the third but now… unsure if we use our second, trade back, or get lucky and get him in the fourth.

Why was it being asked what he did in the SB? He didn't even play

He is getting positive reviews for box safety or star position, similar to what we have. I think that is why people are looking at Bud Clark.

Hehehe I know you would bring up Hufanga!!! 🤙🏾😁

Taafe is one of my picks I hope the 9ers draft. I think at worst he'll be a Pro Bowl Special Teamer with his speed. Hopefully they go Safety in the 2nd round though, unless of course they pick up another 3rd round pick!!
Thienneman, McNeil Warren, Taffe, Bud Clark, Wheatley, or Ramsey.

Ideally, if we want a superstar, it's gotta be round one for the first two. A top guard will be available in the second, and then we should be able to land good edge and receiver help in the fourth.
