WRs: 2026 Draft Class

Who knows if he'll be there at 27, but I believe this is Kyle's guy. We've all talked about him a receiver, but holy s**t, he is a DEMON as a blocker. I finally got a chance to see some all-22. He is straight up bodying people on the field and then laughing in their face. One of the biggest issues in the run game last year was terrible blocking from the Niners' WRs. Boston would immediately help turn that into a strength.

For the 8 plays a game he's out there.

Until Ricky and Evans get hurt, then he's a full time guy.

end of the day this draft blows, if they think Boston has upside to be a Pittman Jr or London light type WR, why not?

I'm pretty open to whomever they take this yr (as long as it's not a massive reach), I would prefer a trade down to get an extra 3rd.

I love that he gets in the DBs face after catching the fade in that last rep. Boston is a straight up elite competitor. There's some Puka to him. Dude smacks himself in the head Dre Greenlaw-style after burying someone on a block.

His traits make me think of Kyle years back talking about how there are 2 ways to separate as an outside WR

right on time. The closer we get to the draft, the more convicted I feel that Denzel Boston is the only WR I want at 27.

Finally got around to watching him more extensively this weekend. Completely agree with you man and I'm on board. I like him more than Omar Cooper and Conception if we taking a WR at 27. His ultra-competitive play style, in particular, his run blocking puts him over the top for me. Would replace JJ in that regard. He would fit so well with us and his upside from a size/speed standpoint is what you want from first round WRs.
I dont like that Boston didnt run a 40.

No idea how fast he is and I find it suspicious. What is he hiding... is he actually a 4.6 guy and not a sub 4.5 guy?

I want to know.

They got GPS info on all these kids, all I care about is your game speed. I think it's pretty clear he's not a burner. I'd say he's got similar speed to Tee Higgins.

Drake London & marvin harrison jr never ran 40s

If Boston is the dude, I'd try to find a way to move down a couple spots and get a 3rd. If a OT is there maybe make a move with NE or something.

I think the same. I don't see why an aging roster that's always suffering injuries wouldn't have this happen again... sigh

I'm fine with WR at 27 if he is BPA. I am no scout, but so far it seems hard to miss adding a good contributor at 27. I do believe pass rush, o line, and secondary are greater needs than WR at this time.

I would love to trade around and get some more picks, but they rarely do that. This class is very weak at the top and imo guys from end of rd1 through 4 ... the difference is marginal. So, the inverse thinking is they should be able to add good contributors. Ultimately, we need some good luck this draft.

Boston stood out as one of the top 3 receivers to me the first time I watched him.

I just saw a clip today where Todd McShay says he thinks he might be the best in this class.

Personally I think this is a generational class. I have first round grades on multiple guys. Not including Tyson because I didn't think he'd make it to us based on consensus.

You think this is a generational WR draft class?!

Thread of Boston

I still would prefer KC over Boston, having the ability to separate and break one off at any moment is needed.

Boston would be a fine pick in this draft, great contested catcher with great hands, mindset is exactly what we need. I do see some Puka to his game. We gotta remember Kyle was high on Tetairoa McMillan as well.

Is he a sub 4.55 guy though? If he is perfectly fine. Don't want to pick him at #27 if they project he's a 4.6 guy. Hopefully the GPS data is enough to get a gauge on 4.50-4.55 speed or 4.60-4.65 in a 40 esp if they are thinking of passing on EDGE for him at #27

lol .05 seconds is the determining factor on whether you're fine with him at #27?

Some people get too hung upon combine measurements. 40 time. Arm length. Hand size. Thos ethings can matter but hen you start comparing 4.55 and 4.6 the difference isn't that big a deal. Especially since 40 times are kind of bogus because players train to get a good time. It's often not a reflection of their game speed.
