KC is my favorite WR that's expected to be available around where we're picking at 27. Would be ideal for Shanny scheme. Like Cooper as well, if they're not there I'm gonna wait for someone like Ted Hurst, Skyler Bell or Antonio Williams.

He spends a lot of time running wide open through gaps in coverage

Hmmm, I didn't see this posted anywhere. The procedure itself isn't alarming. However, the fact that he needed it is a bit...uh...

I did and he's moving just fine

Im good with Concepcion too at #27.

When Pearsall gets injured we dont skip a beat and KC takes over and balls out
He's 5-11 1/2, 196 pounds. Another shifty guy that's going to get hurt a lot?

Those are very good numbers for KC. I thought he'd be a little smaller. He turned out to be heavier than I expected.

You can see in that clip posted on the previous page that he's pretty damn jacked.

It seems like we already have a lot of smaller receivers. Having said that he does fit the mold: Jordan Watkins 5-11 196, Christian Kirk is 5-11 200.

I want WRs that can separate. Most "big" WRs aren't fluid enough to separate regularly.

KC can run routes like Emmanuel Sanders, but has more YAC ability. His hands are subject and we'd all like him to be 2 inches taller with 10lbs, if that was the case he wouldn't be available where we're picking.

I think Kyle would have a field day with KC, I'm not sure if he makes it to SF though.

I agree. I feel like we had (and have) Z and Y types, but not a real X (until Evans). Cooper, Bell, Boston, and Brazzell are larger, but could develop into the X mold. It's tempting to take one at 27 as they could learn behind Mike for a year or 2, but no doubt KC is dynamic. I just wonder how he would fit in.

Im not really a fan of taking someone at 27 who doesnt fill a need now. Before Evans i was all for drafting that but if we are drafting a guy to learn behind Mike i would rather get one later in draft or push the need another year. I really like those players you lusted and Cooper is only one i would be very happy with at 27 cause he can also play the slot. The others would probably not see the field too much in their first year with Evans and Pearsall.
Chris Simms(Shanny's BFF) gushing about Denzel Boston. Shanny probably feels the same way. I forgot that there was a report that the 49ers loved Tetairoa McMillan last year. I like Denzel Boston, so I wouldn't be bothered if he's the 49ers' guy at 27. It just seems like an odd fit with the current WR room. Maybe Shanahan is cooking something up with like a big slot role or a new spread package. It would be a pick that may not be as impactful in 2026 as others could be, but ultimately, you need to take the BPA.

End of the day I don't think he will be there
