If that is the target, need to keep an eye on the Colts trying to jump us. They seem to have an affection for defensive 49er type dudes (Ward, Defo, Womack, Ebukam). And they only have one LB on their roster that even played more than 250 snaps last year. After going offense in Round 1, they might be looking to go the defensive side and address that major whole in their depth chart.

Want more of a power LB but he isn't to bad definitely a tackling machine with good anticipation. I'd be happy with him. If we can get IDL run stoppers and let him and Warner fly around they could be a nasty combo

Unfortunately, you're probably right. I think they're going to feel urgency to address the starting 3technique spot with a guy like Omarr Norman-Lott at 43 and then address stack LB in the 3rd like Chris Paul at 75 or a guy later.
Out of the countless drafts I've covered, the 49ers have only drafted like 5 guys I really loved in like 15 years, so us expecting them to grab our guy(s) is setting ourselves up for disappointment.

Carson would be a nice pick but they still have a lot of holes to fill. They might want to go in another direction.

I think hes not the pick at 43 due to them having faith in Dee Winters more than we think.
