Agreed. I'd be very surprised if he was still there for us, but I'm not sure if trading up makes sense.

I have proclaimed my love for Mykel Williams for weeks but that was for pick 11. I wasn't as keen on moving up to get him as the niners attempted to last night. I think the value for Carson Schwesinger in the 30's is absolutely worth trying to trade up for.

Not only do I fully believe Carson would be an impact day-1 starter at Will LB, he'd be the team's future mike LB once Fred hangs them up. One thing that jumped out to me while watching his film was his communication on the field. He's constantly calling things out, getting everyone on the same page, getting guys aligned, etc. This dude is a natural Mike LB.

The way I feel about Carson is exactly how I felt about Fred in 2018.

Well, I can't pretend that I stood on a table for him. Mykel was the only edge I wanted among the small pool of guys I thought would be good picks.
