Am I missing something here? Isn't he getting pushed into the QBs lap on almost all those reps? If the QB was actually trying to throw there he is moving off his spot on damn near all those reps.

Ummm what? No idea what you are seeing; maybe the first rep. By ALL accounts he was pretty much the biggest winner of the National team today. Dude looked fantastic

His one on one reps today he gets pushed back into the QB again on half his snaps. Yea he's staying in front of his guy but he's getting pushed into the QBs pocket. And today in team drills it happened again and cause the worst pass in practice that should have been an easy INT but DB dropped it.

He gets pushed back waaaaay to easy IMO

I haven't watched today's practice yet. As far as yesterday; I completely disagree and it seems everyone else there did too.

1 on 1 drills are such BS for a CB. Especially for a guy like Hill who's more of an off coverage zone guy.

My man

This drill is designed specifically for a WR to shine. Any CB that can lock it down here gets my respect; like Quinyon Mitchell did last year

Yeah. Not knocking the receiver his slide n go mixed with a dive release is pretty nasty but without safety help most CBs gonna get cooked by that

He's scared of competing let 31 other teams know how soft this guy is and how he shouldn't be drafted.
It sure would be nice if the Niners could land every player the writers and bloggers are saying they will pick.

Yeah it would, especially since we seem to be able to pick better than they can in the first three rounds.

I doubt that. We'll see how they do now that they're in a good position. I just hope there are a few teams that overdraft a QB so more linemen are availble when the 49ers pick.

They didn't have a first round pick for 2 years after the Lance trade and that left them with a late 2nd rounder as their first pick in 2023. In 2022 their first pick was late in the 3rd round. You aren't going to find a lot of talent picking there unless you get lucky. I don't think enough fans appreciate how hard it is when you pick late in a round. You sit and wait your turn while player after player that might fit your roster is taken by other teams. I'm sure many of the fans have been disappointed when a player they wanted to see the Niners choose gets taken a few picks ahead of them. Now they have to go down their list to see who else is available. If nobody really fits their needs then they start to reach.

You ever see the shadow drafts that people here do every year? I think you'd be surprised if not.
I honestly think this draft is a no brainer the way prospects are shaking out.

Rd1 Best OT available. Likely a stud possibly an All Pro.
Rd2 Best DE available, draft is stacked at DE.
RD3 Best DT available high quality rotational player should be there, in the mold of a DJ Jones.

I'm kinda excited about next season, we need a great draft and this draft is deep right where we need help.

Bro where did you see all of his reps from today? They televised the American team side today. I'm not a social media guy so I'm not sure if that's where it's at.

Edit: Nevermind I got it. My DVR didn't show it until now for whatever reason

Secondary too brother. Nice draft and we gonna need help with the anticipated losses of Ward and Huff (I do think Huff comes back) but I still would want to add a Safety cause I'm completely out on Jaiir

We typically "fill" all our glaring needs prior to the draft in Free Agency so a lot can change. I agree Huff likely comes back and I'm cool with Huf and Mustafa as our tandem. Until I see them draft a center field safety I'm just gonna assume that Lynch likes safeties who play like him.

Kinda disagree with RD1 best OT. Personally outside of Campbell (who might end up best inside) none of these top end OTs are studs imo

No OT's in the 1st please. And quite honestly I doubt Shanahan does draft one at #11. Defense outweighs the need for a OT right now.
