Wanya Morris OT Oklahoma

Former 5 star recruit went to Tennessee then transferred to Oklahoma.

he's 6-5 310lbs with 35"+ arms and can move very well. Played both LT/RT

He's an explosive athlete wirh good hip flex ability. Has good leverage.

needs to get stronger and his technique overall isn't consistent. He's not a day 1 guy but could develop into a RT starter.

I'm seeing his draft projections from late 2nd to 4th rd.

I was a Bergeron fan. I have cooled on him.

My rankings for us go

1. Warren McClendon
2. Wanya Morris
3. Blake Freeland

I really want us to come away with one of these 3 guys
I'm a bit of a broken record in this section of the board, but Wanya is one of my top 5 fav "my guy" prospects in this year's draft

Definitely a fan of Morris. I see alot more 3rd and 4th round projections than 2nd, so theres a chance he will be there for us. Alot of upside. Height, arm length, speed, really solid base. Frame looks like it could add some more weight without losing the athleticism. Needs a little more core strength and leg drive strength. Some of his tape is frustrating. Hopefully its technique and not laziness, but he lunges too much and gets too upright with high hands. But if you could coach him up, he'd make for a fine right tackle. Didnt play guard in college, but at worst I think he could be a plug and play RG as well with potential for the left side.

Agreed on your top 3 but I wouldn't be mad about Bergeron

I wouldn't be mad at Bergeron either. But a week or do ago I was willing to trade up for him. Not so much anymore.

I like that group as well. Tyler Steen of Alabama is a 4th guy, but is probably a hair behind them for me.

Yup, and a couple later round guys I like are Conner Galvin, Ryan Hayes, and Nick Saldiveri

Yeah I'll take McClendon, Morris, Freeland or Tyler Steen in the 3rd before moving up for Bergeron. Don't dislike him just don't think he's much better than others that should be available
