Jalen Pitre S (DW) Baylor

Surprised there isn't a thread on him after his strong Senior Bowl week.

5'11" about 200lbs, listed Safety out of Baylor. What the kid may lack in athletic abilities, he more then makes up for with instincts for days. Reminds me of the honey badger, "football player" that just makes plays all over the place at every level. So smooth of a player that oddly enough given his size, kid played a role in college similar to that of Fred Warner at BYU. Got DW in the thread topic because that's what this kid can be, a defensive weapon to deploy as the deep safety, drop in as the Nickel, blitz off the edge, wherever you need him in the secondary or even close to the LOS like Matheiu

Like his profile. You like him more than Cine? I think if they can get another 2nd for jimmy S is def an option in round 2. Could be the option regardless

So far I'm seeing a run supporting safety that's sub 200 and is a ankle biter tackler. Team him up with Huf in the future and teams wouldn't dare run on us.

I haven't watched enough of Cine yet but from what I have seen I really like him too. He'd be more of a true S then Pitre out the gate IMO, where right now I see Pitre more as the Nickel who can play Safety if/when needed or in a package role.
