I remember this dude standing out last season when I watched Trey. He's really nice, and I'd love to have him. But I don't think drafting a WR early is the move for us. There will be major diminishing returns at this point with how talented our receiving group is. We also had a significant issue with getting the ball to our guys last season. Until Trey proves he can distribute the ball, we're just compounding that issue by adding more bodies.

That said, I ain't going to be mad if they draft him.

I tend to agree with you here. Then last year I called the bengals a dog s**t organization for taking the wr over the tackle! Haha! Turns out it doesn't matter if you get sacked 19 times in the playoffs if you have jamar going for 200 a game. Not going to say this kid is jamar chase but I would not be mad about taking a wr high and just having a complete unguardable offense. I don't see it happening but it'd be awesome. Holding out some kind of hope we can get a 2 out of Jimmy and make this happen.

He will be available in the third or forth round. Nice size and speed but he didn't dominate the lower level competition enough for a first or second round pick.

I would love to see Christian Watson in red and gold, but it seems like a pretty deep WR class. And we've seen that outside of the super talented prospects like Chase and Waddle, most WRs are going in the 2nd and 3rd round. If Watson goes in the first there will still be other nice options at WR later in the draft. Feels like we could get a nice WR in the 3rd. Or maybe use our 2nd if a guy we really like falls to us there.

Yeah there is probally about 6 guys I would love and all will be drafted after the 1st RD. I am hoping Kyle grabs two of them. Give Trey as many weapons as possible. The defense is already pretty good and whatever missing pieces they need they could get in free agency.
