Drafting QBs is such a crapshoot. Right now, I favor going hard after a proven NFL stud like Matt Stafford.

Things are fluid, tho. I change my opinion every other week.

Taking notes on all the Trask hate

I'm not saying he's the next Tom Brady, but I think he'll be a fairly good QB. Joe Burrow came out of nowhere last season to be the #1 overall selection with a much better offense than Trask has. Trask doesn't have as strong of an arm, but his accuracy, deep ball placement, and IQ has shown to be very good for a QB that hadn't started since junior high.

Put him in an offense like Shanahan's or Reich's and I think he'd flourish.

I still haven't heard a good reason why some of you love Jones and not Trask.

I like both of them to be fair... but they're similar players imo. Trask has more touchdowns and a "worse" team around him.

One hit wonder label maybe, not for me but he does have limited experience

trask, Jones, it doesn;t matter. They won't draft a QB and will be bring back Jimmy G who may play for 5 games before he gets hurt and have no back up plan.

I got to say, whatever doubts I had about Trask are gone after the Alabama game. He dropped downfield dime after downfield dime into tight windows, over and over again, sometimes with better velocity that I had seen, and all of them extremely accurate and catchable.

I hate to agree with Cohn, but maybe he's not as bad as I thought. I'm starting to think I would not cry if we drafted him.

Look at this and tell me with a straight face this guy doesn't have an NFL arm.



Sidenote: under no circumstances should he be used on designed QB runs.
