49ers Options at #13: Someone's Gotta Drop

Don't think that there aren't any other teams looking at Ruggs. Someone (sea chickens?) might sell the farm for this guy. And the Niners need 2nd 3rd 4th round picks cause that's where your gems are found. So, unless 13 is a sure thing (and there IS no such thing), the Niners will trade down for more draft capital and work from there. Going to be interesting.

Honestly, I don't like Juedy or Lamb until the 2nd round. I don't care what other people think, that's where they belong. Ruggs is a generational athlete with huge hands who catches everything. Juedy scored in the 22% for WR in the NFL...that is F&*%^$ awful. Lamb isn't helping himself either at 57%.

I'm looking at Ruggs at 13 or Mims at 31. I wouldn't rule out Peoples-Jones in the 3rd either. I have no doubt that Harbaugh ruined him at Michigan. I bet the Chiefs take him as their 2nd rounder.

Yeah, I am so happy we got #13...now I can get excited preparing for the draft and reading about top prospects again.. especially good now that I have to stay inside all day and there are no sports to watch!! Damn Coronavirus!

No elite athletic traits from Jeudy. It's definitely disappointing for a top 10ish pick.

That said, dude is still a beast and his tape shows someone that plays much more athletic than he tests.

we havent moved goodwin yet......that makes me even more optimistic their gonna trade him on draft day. no reason we cant get a 4th or 5th rounder for him. if we cant get that f it trade him for a 7th. we need to cut his money an his dead weight.

Curious how they grade Juedy as a poor athlete. I watched his tape the other night and watched him consistently break ankles. His route running ability is a treat to watch.

What are they saying? He can't jump 40 inches and out leap double coverage? He can't make one handed grabs down the sideline while keeping both feet in?

How would you describe an athletic WR. Because to me Juedy is every bit as athletic as any other WR prospect.

Bottom line. Can you get open? That's all I care about. Juedy gets open!

I thought this was going to be a quite offseason and draft-hahaha. Now everyone will weigh in on their expertise and the zone will blow up when it is not their choice.

At first a lot of people had us going safety, we resigned ward so that is off the board and we also got the 13th pick. Waiting to see how the pundits reset their boards. If we don't Goodwin, niners most likely won't go wr, if they do, it will be right before the pick I imagine (13th or 31-or later if we trade out.)

Every year their is one team that can throw the board into chaos, I am hoping it is the niners, also, hoping a couple QB drops to cause even more chaos.

If you look at the link above-more likely to trade the 31st pick, seems their are more teams with extra 3rd rounders.

If Ruggs and Okudah are still there at 13, who is your pick? Me (Okudah)...he can cover any of these WRs in the draft.

I won't be mad tho if we got Ruggs. I just don't want anyone in our division to have either player

RUGGS - overrated... trust me, Las Vegas' ahead of us, and for grabbing the Glynch two years ago, Gruden will be drafing RUGGS right in front of us..
