If we trade back and the Big 3 are gone who is your target?

Don't trade back that far. Burns would do but he is likely to go early too.

This. I wouldn't mind Montez Sweat but his heart condition freaks me out.

Well, I am happy with one of the top players or a rich trade, but lets be clear, it isnt that simple. As you move down, the chances of busting increases. It is easy to pick 3 highly successful players and say, we could pick three players at equivalent positions and we could. But we could also end up with Rashaun Woods and Reggie McGrew.

We also could say at the top and end up with Alexis Smith or Solomon Thomas

We cant talk about how deep this class is at edge rusher then when push comes to shove we're scared because we might choose the wrong DE.

Why are we calling thois position deep if we can't even trade down 10 spots.

Truth of the matter is the 2nd safest edge rusher in the draft is projected to go late 1st. His name Clelin Ferrell. However, everyone looking for "bend" and "dips". Having Buck and Ford leaving Ferrell one on one I'd take in a new York minute. No need complicating things looking for certain measureables. See Bill Belichick

in this scenario he proposed getting AJ Green. That would be the opposite of an epic fail.

Wait so we ended up out of the running for OBJ because we valued the #2 pick to much and would not include it in the trade but we would include it in his scenario for a WR who will be 31 when the season starts. Explain to me how that makes sense.

Because i believe it was said we were willing to do it if the #6 was in play but NYG didn't include it.

In this scenario #11 is in play
in the land of Make Believe:

A). Trade back to 4 and get the Raiders 3rd first round pick

B). Trade back w/ Giants and get their 2nd first round pick

C). Take Montez Sweat at #6 - then Best WR and then Best Safety

D). Trade into first and get best OL or stay pat and hope to get Lindstrom

That is really "FANTASY FOOTBALL."

I'm STILL "all-in" on Bosa.

Anybody who thinks Alex Smith was not deserving of the #1 pick after the career he put together.....well not you but that thought is idiotic and shows how very little you know about football. Commence with the draft talk.

Burns or Taylor
So the Raiders gave up a 3rd,5th and some magic dust for a very productive albeit disruptive 31 yr old Brown, and you would want to move to 11 for a 31 yr old good, coming off an injury receiver which somehow incorporates the #2 pick of the draft in the trade , I like Green but not anywhere near that price. Bosa or Allen please.

I feel Devin white will be the biggest impact player from this draft, then Byron Murphy, trading back is ideal. Deandre Baker is next and greedy harder to trust for me but very talented and also plays high impact position so even tho mlb was addressed in FA those are the 4 players that will lead to winning games you have to get at least one of those in a trade back
we get one of the two best players in the draft, any trade that takes that from the 49ers has to be a H Walker type trade.

OK, I am going to try something out of the box.

I have always said if we were to trade back, we take a lesser EDGE and DK Metcalf.

Now, since there has been some push back on Metcalf, so let me suggest an alternative option.

This may sound a little crazy to some since we already have George Kittle, has anyone considered the idea of going 12 personnel with 2 x TEs and taking Kittle's alum TJ Hockenson? That dude is a beast. How the hell can the opposing defense cover both Kittle and Hockenson at the same time?!

What do you reckon?

I think Kyle prefers using a FB over a second TE because it provides more flexibility in the run game. Splurging on a second TE would be a poor use of a day 1/2 pick.

Nicely phrased.
