It'd love to see us trade back to 11 for a deal centered around AJ Green. So if we trade back who becomes your #1 target?

If we come out of the Draft without one of the 3 it's an epic fail.

Meh, if we can trade back for a sizeable haul and then take someone like Burns or Sweat with our first pick, that's not bad.
That might allow us to hit edge, safety, corner, and WR all in the first 70 picks.

Don't trade back that far. Burns would do but he is likely to go early too.

Brian Burns might be available at 11 depending on what mock you read.

I just dont think a trade back is going to happen at #2 pick. Maybe if we were at #15 pick, I can see a trade back happening, but not at #2. At minimum a team would have to give up more than one first round pick for two or more years to get our spot, or a good portion of this years draft. Edge rusher class is particularly deep this year, and edge rusher positions are second only to QB's in terms of positional impact value. On top of that, edge rusher is particularly a deep need for this team this year, even though we have Dee Ford.

More QB needy teams than 1st rd Qbs available a trade down is possible. If moved back no later than 6 and 2 maybe 3 Qbs go early it's possible Allen or Williams could be there at #6. If not sweat would be next best option

I'm starting to see the same rumblings with Burns that I did with Landry, draft community love him a lot more than the NFL, I think Burns will go a lot later than people think and certainly below Sweat and probably Gary.
A trade to the teens if Bosa is off the board is appealing, but I would want a huge haul.

Only if the 49ers got two 1st round picks.
Bosa/Williams/Allen
Or
Burns/Sweat and Metcalf/Brown

I don't know if it's a trend but I think because of the rule changes I'm noticing a ton of talent in the receiver class lately. I'm not doing that trade . If the giants and steelers basically gave away two of the best receivers in the game, they must think they can replace them. I'm not saying it wouldn't be nice to have that go to guy but we have options.
In your scenario, after Bosa , it goes QW, Allen, Ferrell, sweat, Ferguson, Burns. for me. Not sure what you can get at 11, maybe sweat, Burns and Ferrell. I'm not exactly thrilled about that.

How far back are we trading? What are we getting in return?
These things affect who I would target. Are there 2 1's this year? Or at least an early 2?

some team is gonna have to give up a mountain of draft picks for this to be possible and I don't see a QB who is worth that.

In this scenario, did we just get AJ and pick 11 back for #2?
If that's the case, my target is Lynch. As in get rid of him.
