Gary is a better Soloman Thomas. But that is a good comparison.
Pass on this dude as well.
Another sparq Superman. No thanks
There's nothing wrong with using SPARQ as a tool. But the tape is what ultimately matters most.
Yes. Must use common sense.

Round 2, if we take a safety I will throw the remote at my TV.
I'm ok with anything other than this.
What would a safety at #2 make you do?

What if we draft a qb in the 1st? Oh the rage - hopefully it's Haskins

Why Should we expect kids to make money for College Football, get nothing in return except the assumption of all of the risk, and no share in any of the reward?
Why should we expect them to risk their draft stock? They are gambling with Millions. They are gambling with their future, their entire family's future.
When someone has nothing to gain (see, Bosa), why should we expect him to care about some Big 10 championship?
All that is true if you are just there to play football. However, you are getting a free ride on tuition which is about $50-$60k per year. If you don't want the degree and sleep thru class then that's on you. That's one reason so many of these guys end up broke. They aren't taking advantage of the education. Paying the players opens up a whole can of worms since all the other sports would want to get paid too. The solution is a developmental league that would allow guys that have no interest in getting a degree to go directly from high school to the D league. They could work it like the NBA which is about to change the rules so kids can go there out of high school instead of the ridiculous one and done that has ruined college basketball. Face it, many of these players are dumb as a stump and shouldn't be taking up space in college.

I'm pretty worried about how much attention the 49ers have shown to Gary and Sweat.
My nightmare is we trade down and pick gary or sweat.

I wouldn't be surprised if they traded back and picked Sweat. They had him at the Senior Bowl so they're very familiar with him. If the haul of picks was good enough I could see that happening. Cards make my choice; pick Murray and we go Bosa. If they pick Bosa then we go Williams or trade back.

Yeah, I see it as very likely to happen. sweat is just going to be so mediocre as a passrusher. dude is stiff as a board. should be a great run defender(not that we dont have enough of those)
Even bigger nightmare, they trade back and pick sweat over burns.

FSU dropped out of the top 25 week 1. They finished #89 in the top 150. Hey.
SOS means strength of schedule so I'm not sure why you keep posting about how Florida State isn't a top 25 team...
Florida State wasn't good, but the teams they played against were. The teams Kentucky played against weren't as good as a lot of people think given they're in the SEC.
