Rock Ya-Sin lost 3 inches in height at the Senior Bowl (From 6'2 - 5'11) and though he was physical and played well was not without his occasional struggles
I'm liking Justin Layne from MSU. Any thoughts on where he's likely to go?

I know we need CB help, but I think I'd prefer to go mid rounds and FA for that. I've been trying to look at who I think we can get in the 3rd or 4th. Layne would ideal if he lasted that long.

Also, I'm really liking these position based threads. Thanks to the OP for all the work putting this together. I hope to see more, especially for SAM and FS.

We need to draft for BPA. It's hard to imagine a BPA will be a CB in the early rounds. I think there are some good CBs in day 3 like Layne who you mentioned.

Agreed, in this draft I'd take a CB on day 3

That would definitely be my preference as well. But since our day 3 picks are a 4th and two 6ths, I am thinking that 4th would be a good place to get a CB. Do you guys think there's a good chance to get Layne in the 4th?

Or are there guys who we might be able to get in the 6th that you like?

It all depends on how he does at the combine. If he runs a fast 40 and looks good in the drills then no chance. I agree with you on the 4th rounder being a good spot to snag a CB depending on free agency of course.
