San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Brandon Aiyuk has reportedly submitted his paperwork for NFL reinstatement and will report to the team's training facility Friday afternoon, according to his new agent, Drew Rosenhaus.
Aiyuk is currently on the reserve/left squad list and has not played since suffering an ACL injury during the 2024 season.
"Brandon is healthy and ready to get back on the field," Rosenhaus told ESPN's Adam Schefter.

The 49ers will have a decision to make once Aiyuk reports. They can keep him on the roster, release him, or explore a trade.
The latter two options appear more likely, although a trade could prove difficult. San Francisco would need to find a team willing to acquire the receiver and take on his contract.
A rift developed between Aiyuk and the 49ers during his recovery from the knee injury, and neither side has shown much interest in repairing the relationship.
Aiyuk's return to the facility is likely just a procedural step toward his release, which would finally allow him to pursue an opportunity with another team.
