2019 CB Prospects

Forgot this kid, Saivion Smith, Bama, 6'1, 200..

Unfortunately I heard Lavonte Taylor is staying at FSU another year. He would be one of my top corners this year and will start off next year as a top CB prospect along with Darnay Holmes. Taylor is really underrated due to a few bad beats but most the time QBs don't even attempt a pass in his direction. He's fits my kinda CB I love with great drive on the ball and amazing COD and great instincts. But next year will be a much better CB class.

Oh really ? I thought he'd declare, he is a tough kid and reminds me of Jason Verrett when he was coming out. Idk if Mark Gilbert declared either honestly, another kid I like is Travon Diggs who I'm also unsure if he declared..

Taylor has a farewell looking letter to FSU fans but it was him confirming his return to the school for another year. My guess is he wasn't given the best draft projection due to a little bit of a bad year. I agree with the Jason Verrett comp his man coverage skills are up their. Not as good as Verrett but when Verrett was coming out his TCU tape was the best man coverage I'd ever seen and still is (Jaire is number 2). But Taylor has similar traits to Verrett and hopefully he can avoid the injuries Jason has been hit by.

Travon Diggs is heading back to Bama but Gilbert is heading to the pros to my knowledge. Gilbert someone who may rise up boards really really fast. Once looking at his older tape a man coverage team will be falling in love with him really quickly.

Yeah I was unsure with both Bc they were both injured I believe almost the entire season, I like Gilbert a lot, I think he can excel in man and zone, he's got nice size, speed, quickness and plays the ball in the air well, now another question since you're on point, is Gilbert invited to the combine ?

No he got snubbed on getting an invite. Pro day will be huge for him.

Edit : I do hope Gilbert spent his time off working on his upper body strength would really help him once he gets to the pros and corners are expected to take on blocks and force runs inside.
