I heard on the Rich Eisen show that all they heard after the combine was Murray will go #1 to the Cardinals. And that they won't trade JR until the draft and they know for a fact they have drafted Murray. Even if a team offers their #1 pick. JR is their backup plan if for some crazy reason they don't draft Murray #1... like if Murray decides he wants to play MLB right before the draft. They can't risk not have a QB at all
He ain't playing no baseball. What's he gonna do, go play for the Stockton Ports and Midland Texas Rockhounds for 3 years while he learns to hit MLB pitching when the nfl basically guarantees him a starting job and a bigger contract?
this
No one said he was going back to baseball. It's just another reason out of 1 million reasons to wait until the last second. ANYTHING CAN HAPPEN

Washington/Rosen looks more and more like the pairing, unless someone else steps up their offer.

Weird, Jay Gruden announced that Rosen wasn't for sale! Doubt that have endeared them!

Yup we know DC was publicly interested. Albright says it would more than likely be a 2nd and future pick.
It's gonna happen

I actually had dinner with Murray's agent on Tuesday and he told me that he is going to play football even though he would make much more money playing baseball.
And Scott Boras who is his agent definitely wanted him to play baseball since the contracts are so much higher

Is Boras representing him for football too? (Hope ARI has a good negotiator.
)IIRC NFL signing bonuses are better than MLB for draftees. But, baseball money is better if you make it to the show.

Seriously brah. That #17 should get it done and Rosen is better than any QB that would be available there by far

C'mon, man . It means that Eli's willing to take a pounding, even without OBJ. He'll put up with the growing pains. A team with Saquon Barkley is a team with a future. I believe they've won a couple SBs lately, er ahut ahum, a lot more recently than we have.

Ha ha ha! That was before Gettleman, when they had a great D, and a functioning QB.
A team with Saquon and little else is destined to be like the Rams under Fisher.
