I don't see it tbh. I think Gruden rides Carr and drafts defense.

I would LOVE that! Keeps Murray out of our division and we still get Bosa

Belichick probably does have the best chance to develop Rosen. Most coaches have and will try to make him into a white knight/All American leader. But that's not him. He's better suited to be the villain who channels the force for personal gain.

I'd rather see Arizona take Murray. I'm not worried about him. If Arizona moves to 4 they're going to end up with Quinnen Williams or Josh Allen and another starter which would scare me a lot more than Murray.
With their OL if we draft Bosa he may not make it through his rookie season between us and Aaron Donald.

I dunno man. Murray is taylor made for that offense and been recruited since highschool to run it. They won't be able to run it the same with Rosen. I'd argue that Murray is exactly what's needed when an OL is that bad, he can escape and run with pressure or extend plays Rosen can't.

I heard on the Rich Eisen show that all they heard after the combine was Murray will go #1 to the Cardinals. And that they won't trade JR until the draft and they know for a fact they have drafted Murray. Even if a team offers their #1 pick. JR is their backup plan if for some crazy reason they don't draft Murray #1... like if Murray decides he wants to play MLB right before the draft. They can't risk not have a QB at all

Schrager just tossed in the MLB thing at the end, cuz it's a nice way to say that anything could happen with Murray between now and DD, even bad things like a bust or an accident. No reason for AZ to make their move now - a bird in hand and all that.
I would expect a trade during the draft if AZ goes that way.

If AZ has any doubts about Murray being committed to the NFL they probably won't draft him.

Who is they? This is all stuff being reported by people with no actual ties to the organization. The reporters that follow the team most closely all are saying that pretty much everything is on the table and a tradedown is still the most favored option.

Yup, not saying he would go back to baseball. But the Cards need to make sure they have a QB before making any serious moves

That makes complete sense to me, I don't think it would hurt his value much either, they only have to convince a team that other teams are bidding high, the auction effect will get their value back.
This is a bad QB class, teams will pay up.
