Harbaugh has a close relationship with Jed and probably already told him everything he needs to know.

no way he'll be a good 4-3 DE..

Chargers & Jags Run the same scheme we do, there's a ton of scope in our D for someone like Chase.

1 gap Vs 2 gap responsibility is much more important than 3-4 Vs 4-3. We run many of the principles that a 1 gap 3-4 team run

1 gap, 2 gap, ... our defense is not getting the job done.. Fangio had a much more simpler scheme and we had the players playing the right position and that's one of the reason why we were great..

we keep drafting good prospects and you put them at the wrong position and the defense will continue to suck..

Andre Carter was a very good DE for us, look how he turned out when NOLAN used him as an OLB under the 3-4.. He knew Carter was not going to be good, so it made it a TICKET ON THE WAY OUT OF SF...

I agree with the principle behind what you're saying. Some players are better standing up than in a 3 point stance. Chase spends nearly all of his time with his hand in the ground.

Pittsburgh's 1 gap 3-4 is closer in responsibilities to our front, than the Patriots 2 gap 3-4 even though we are 4-3.

Chase would be well suited to either us or Pittsburgh, but not the Pats.

CORRECT..

That's all I'm saying here.. IF you draft this guy to play DE (4-3), it AIN'T gonna happen in the NFL... he's just too small.. sure he will get some sacks, but in the long run he will end up being a BUST..

it works in college because he is what he is, but I really just do not see him as a down DE..

Yes, I can just picture Baalke's daughter and Jim having a hot dog watching the game lol.
I think he'll go int eh 2nd round. Not sure how he'll hold up on the next level but he busts his ass every play

I doubt he'd be out of Round One.. I see too much Patriots on this guy..
Was there ever any doubt this bad motherf**ker would accept his Senior Bowl invite?

Another guy I'm not to familiar with, I've seen him mocked from the 1st to him in the 3rd round, as of now where do you all think he'd go ?
Let's go Chase, looks like we'll at least coach him or Josh Allen.

I could see him anywhere from the bottom of the first to the fourth, purely on how he tests, I want him, he's relentless.
I'm happy for that dude. He deserves every praise. He worked hard for it and has an infectious energy about him. The team rallied around Chase.
