most I'd give up is a 3rd. dats it.
I'd give up a 2nd for Beal. With one more good season he'd be entering 1st round discussion. If you consider that the 49ers 2nd rounder will likely be mid 2nd round at the earliest, if the team thinks he can develop into a long term starter then I am down. He'd still have all of training camp and preseason to catch up on the defense.
Agree I think the biggest value in the supplemental draft is you get present value at future cost. Giving up a 2nd for him in the supplemental draft is actually like giving up a 2018 3rd for him since you downgrade a rd for future years. This is just making me wish we didn't burn that 3rd to move up for Pettis and used it to acquire a 2019 2nd (or traded the other 3rd rather than taken Moore).

We're not going to get him. Would love it but don't see it after drafting Moore and Reed. Not to mention other CB needy teams that will most likely give up a higher pick than we'd be willing to part with

I'd love to get him, but we run the dreaded "numbers game" scenario now. Even if we move Tre'darious Moore and Ward back to Safety, we still wouls end up having to cut a good player to accomadate him.. That's why I'm not a fan of over-drafting or "too many is a good problem to have " BS b'cuzz w/salary cap ramifications and contracts signed/resigned, we have to have "room" for a guy on the roster to bring him in.

Not much film out there to watch. Doesn't seem interested in run support. Let's himself be blocked almost every run and just gets in a shoving match with the receiver with very little interest in trying to help the run D. In coverage he definately shines. Very physical with receivers at the line. Wish there was more on him he's intriguing for sure

Not worth it imo. Sherm can stick around for two years...heck even 3 you never know. And Moore is possibly in the wings just like spoon was. Can't do it. Especially after getting McFadden for free.
