I don't think we will pick high enough to get one. But we need to trade up and push it anyway and get one. This team just needs a pass rusher now. I don't see how we can get much better without a pass rush.

I think we can get Fowler or Ray in FA as apposed to the draft next year. I don't think we'll be drafting high enough to get one of the top ER's.

FA is a good option. We need some kind of pass rush. Even if it is not the absolute best. It's so bad now it can only go up I think.

Looking at WildBill's list, there maybe a good crop of ER coming out next year. The draft or FA, I don't care which route we go, we just need some kind of a pass rush.

I love this time of year when every fan from every team assumes they will be drafting at the end of round 1

I hope we go big in free agency next year. Zach Martin (OG), K.J. Wright (LB), and Tevin Coleman (RB) would be 3 prime targets in this scheme.
That way, we can be laser-focused on addressing core needs like pass rush.

I read bleacher report and they claim that next year may have a bevy of talent. Here is the list they had that could go in the 1st. Have no idea about these guys. So if you know there Height Weight Arm Length and school 40 sack, qb pressures passes batted down etc., please add. Also what seems to be missing are small school players.
They had the niners taking Montez Sweat with the 29 pick(ahead of the Rams). The order below is what the order they tentatively have them going.
Nick Bosa Ohio State Edge
Rashan Gary DL Michigan
Joe Jackson Edge Miami
Clelin Farrell Edge Clemson
Terrell Lewis Edge Alabama
Austin Bryant Edge Clemson
Montez Sweat Edge Mississippi
Sporting News
Zach Allen, DE, Boston College

TBH, none of them really fit the leo profile.

Nick Bosa is the favorite to go #1 overall other than a QB

At least that means I don't have to watch Ohio State or Michigan

(ahead of the Rams). The order below is what the order they tentatively have them going.
