Bosa, Ferrell, Burns, Sweat, Polite, and Allen seek to be the consensus top 6 guys, and outside of Bosa, it's impossible to tell which order they will go in. Many on this board have expressed fear that if we dont grab one with our top 5 pick, we will miss out.

That's not it. He doesn't just come out on early downs or obvious running plays, he comes out for complete series at a time. Seen it in multiple games including today. Hopefully It's not a conditioning issue

I think those six guys will be picked across the first round similar to how the edge class was drafted in the first of 2011.

Saying all 6 are first round talents isn't saying all 6 will go top 10.

All those guys are pretty good pass rush prospects. Some stronger than others but I can easily see those 6 and maybe more go in the first round.

I agree, but again, it has been said on this board that all of the top pass rushers in this draft will go top10-15

None better or as highly regarded as Sweat. Just curious. I don't see top draft prospects rotate as much as he does

Something interesting I got from the telecast that I would never have picked up, is that Sweat always lines up on the wide side of the field.

I think they're just giving him max room and opportunity to win, the wide side is often where teams would run sweeps, so I don't think he comes off the field due to his run D.

It could be conditioning, or maybe his coaches just like to rotate.

They are also using his speed to take away sprint out passes, which are typically called to the field.

Hard to tell which of these guys is really the best. They obviously play in different systems with different coaches so you never know if they are all really maximizing their potential. That's where the combines can help. Coaches can get that close up look and try to envision the guy's skill set in their scheme.

it all depends. If you have a deep talent pool, it will happen. I can't use Miami as an example because although they did rotate, in the heydey, I remember their top guys (mostly interior guys) playing a lot. But to be honest, it doesn't concern me at all with Sweat.

I'm souring a little on Sweat. Haven't watched all the games from this year but I'm noticing too many of his big plays coming where he's either unblocked, poorly blocked or on plays where the QB holds the ball too long or gets flushed out running almost into Sweat.

That's not to say there isn't a lot to play with there. I believe he's still pretty raw and his athletic ability and long arms will certainly help him make some plays but for a top 5/10 pick I'm hoping to see more plays where he wins with his talent/technique versus taking advance of sloppy OL play and being able to get to the QB/ball carrier due to his athletic ability. Can't see him getting so many easy opportunities in the NFL.

I'm not ready to say one way or another cuz I haven't seen enough to finish drawing my conclusions it just kind of jumped out rewatching Sweat some more. I'd say Polite and Ferrell are in the mix for #2 for me right now but I need to see more of Allen, Burns and more from Sweat from this year.
