Is he? I can't watch the game but this was the one I wanted to see him play in!
Sweat is a great prospect, but I hate that he's so damn tall.

Hard to say right now. Have to see who comes out, who does what rest of the year in college and how offseason goes. Certainly has a shot but the Bosa, Oliver, Williams and Ferrell picks may push him down.

I hate that he comes off the field as much as he does. Wonder why? Elite college players stay on the field unless there is a blowout.

Not sure how he is as a run defender

After watching Sweat more, I'm cooling off on him a bit. Yes, there's lot of cut-ups of good plays, but you could literally do that with any player, especially in college where the talent differentials can be so glaring at times.

Some may not agree with the comparison, but he reminds me a bit too much of Leonard Floyd, who isn't a bad player but hasn't exactly been a world-beater for the Bears. All this isn't to say he's dropping off the board or something, but certainly in the shuffle of pass rush talent, I would prefer a more complete player.

I think this fan base has been hyping up the edge rushers too much in general, just because we want one so bad. These are all great prospects, including sweat, but people are ranking like 6 ER as top 10 players, which is just simply not the case.

Who are the 6 ER? Bosa and Ferrell...Burns and Sweat aren't there but could certainly raise their stock.

Don't think I've seen a single person say 6 edge rushers will go top 10 at this point.

This ^ were just talking about wanting to draft edge. A lot of these guys are trade down scenarios

Completely agree. You're absolutely right. It's hard because this class is so deep, it's easy to see a lot of likeable qualities in all of these players. Each fan has their own preference.

Right now, the biggest struggle for me is evaluating players without full snap cut-ups. If I can't see how well they play both the run and pass throughout a game, it's hard to give a complete grade that isn't likely to be flawed. Working off incomplete tape, you will get an incomplete picture of what a player can do, and you have to fill the gap with your gut feeling. In other words.. "guessing".

Right now, I have a massive list of names, but no idea what order I'd put any of them.
