We have an opportunity to get an elite pass rusher (a general consensus). We cannot pass that up. Now if we're able to get 2 ERs this offseason, then great!!

I think Dorsey picked mahamoes in the first round that year. It was a good pick

Mahomes was a wild card. He was picked 10th overall if I remember correctly. Had evaluators known how good he was going to be, he's be 1st overall.

I knew.
Just keep trading down until we have 35 picks. Then at least one guy has to be good.
Draft bosa, then maybe trade down to draft DK

Im assuming You mean trade up. Bc if we draft bosa, then we would have to trade back up to draft DK bc we don't have two 1st. I think DK will go to early for us to trade up though.

In my 25+ years of following the draft, I have never wanted this team to draft someone more than I want them to draft Bosa. I am genuinely consumed by the idea that he might be there for us.

The Baalke approach
Lol we had 2 1st Rounders and picked Solomon Thomas and Reuben Foster.

Amazingly, you guys somehow trust Lynch to go even lower in the draft.

Half of them have to be recovering from major injury though.

So true

If the earth was round, you wouldn't be able to see boats on the horizon; If his last name wasn't Bosa, you wouldn't want him.

All space photos are CGI; All of Bosa's plays are against bad tackles.

We haven't returned to the moon since 1969 because we never went; Bosa didn't return to the field because he's a quitter.

All NASA astronauts are globalist shills; All draftniks are Bosa agent shills.

Hahahahahahaha

When we had no chance at Bosa people b***hed about not having a shot, now it's a possibility and the skeptics are making up weird claims.

It truly is frustrating to read some of this stuff.

This is true. Back when we beat Denver and then Seattle, seems like there was a total meltdown and the front office/KS totally messed up tanking for Bosa. Now it seems a very large minority are totally convinced that Bosa isn't worth the number 2 pick.

I was told to stop when I suggested before the game that we could beat Seattle AND still get Bosa.
Funny how quickly things change. Still, ARI could just take Bosa and none of this will matter.
No matter what JL does he will draw fire. Not everybody is going to be happy with his decision. That said i have a hard time believing that he passes on Bosa. The real question comes if AZ somehow picks Murray(which i refuse to believe), or QW, which i could understand. But if they take BPA, altho they need INTERIOR DTs, and they take Bosa, what happens next will probably have half the fans angry and half happy. No way JL can do better than that. If we get Bosa, then praise the Lord, pass the ammo, and say the beads for AZ. But it won't have been JL's doing.

I always thot i would make a great GM. After watching the show here for the last 10 yrs, and the awful things said about our GMs, no matter what happened or who was picked, i have a hard time imagining anyone , me included, wanting this thankless job. When the team is stacked and we are winning, i hope it gets better. As of right now, you couldn't give me this job . On a brand new team(us) , it is thankless, and every move is fine with some and hated by others. I guess that is the nature of the beast.
What are the chances of raiders trading picks with Arizona to draft bosa?

0%

Not even Gruden is insane enough to pay the cost to go to #1 overall and draft an edge rusher in the most stacked edge rusher class in years.

Bosa is great, but he's not better than Williams/Allen/Ferrel/Sweat/Haskins at 4 and someone else at 24 or 27.

We don't have to give anything up to pick Bosa, the Raiders do.

Edit: s**t, I even forgot Burns because the class is that crowded.

AZ runs a 3-4 now so their edge guys are OLB's. So they should value Allen and QW over Bosa.

I agree that they won't take Murray. Next years QB class is reported to be better and missing out on a pass-rusher in this historic class would be a colossal mistake.

Bad logic.

Vance Joseph ran a 3-4 & still took Chubb from a 4-3. Had really good success.

They should value superior players over inferior players.
