Agreed. No reason to not take a QB with one of the picks and best player at the other. Trading for any QB would not go over well or provide excitement unless it's McCarran which I don't see happening. Even if the QB fails they'll get their money worth from the excitement of the fans. Plus they'd be in position to draft a QB again if need be.

Darnold/Rosen and Barkley would make them the talk of the off-season and make that offense scary. Or get one of the QBs and another top prospect and get a RB in rd 2 of these deep RB class.

They are in a good spot. Only way they shouldn't draft a QB is if they get Cousins. I highly doubt Cousins will decide to go to a losing team that's not ready to win yet so ...

That would be awful....just looking at the teams Kyle and his father have been a part of, they've drafted a RB most yrs.

On the Stick to Football podcast, Matt Miller said he's heard that Denzel Ward can go in the top ten. He's not the bigger corner that many want, but he's very fast and athletic.
I'm hoping he goes top ten to help push Smith or Nelson down to us.

He already drafted a RB last year. Williams will be healthy starting OTAs. How many goddamn RBs are you going to draft?

The backlash from drafting a bust QB is not as bad as passing on Franchise QB.

He already drafted a RB last year. Williams will be healthy starting OTAs. How many goddamn RBs are you going to draft?

He drafted a RB in the 4th rd that had fake season ending injury that held him out all yr, dude got outplayed by a UDFA.

Like I said the shannys's draft a RB almost every yr. IF we move on from from Hyde we're down to a 4th rd underwhelming 2nd yr guy, and two UDFAs that's awful. We HAVE to be able to run the ball if we want to see Kyle's full offense.

He's almost always had mid-round picks starting at RB. I don't see how you can call Williams underwhelming. He has such a small body of work and actually flashed well in the preseason. Because he fumbled?

BTW that same UDFA also outperformed Hyde down the stretch once he was given a comparable number of touches. Hyde is just a poor fit. It's obvious.

If a CB with the skills of Ward also runs in the 4.2s he's probably going in the top 10.
