No shock from me. Kenny Vaccaro clone has been overrated all year.

I think he's better then Vaccaro. He flat out locked down the slot receiver from Clemson last night. This kid is a baller. Jimmy Ward couldn't hold Fitzpatrick's jock strap.

And I think he isn't anything special. If you draft him early to play CB then it's a wasted pick. If you draft him to play SS then that works that's his natural position imo. Play inside the box and blitz. But people keep saying FS and he's not even the best FS in this draft. And SS would be a toss up between Derwin Jameses potential and Minkah.

lol yup pass

Top 25 future NFL stars to watch in New Year's Day bowl games

2. Minkah Fitzpatrick, DB, Alabama

Game: Sugar Bowl vs. Clemson

Scouts not only appreciate Fitzpatrick's physical gifts, but also the fact that is the leader of the Crimson Tide's defense. Clemson will see him lining up deep, in the slot, and maybe outside if the correct situation arises. That versatility will be a boon to his draft stock, whenever he elects to move on to the next level. Young quarterback Kelly Bryant had better know where the Tide's All-American defender is positioned, or turnovers will ensue.

I disagree,Minkah is the real deal,He is as advertised, will fit our defense perfectly ,are you listening Lynch...I don`t know where you guys get the Vaccaro comparrision from but it don`t fit

So in my rounds on the phone over the weekend, I heard this from a veteran college scout, a man who was one of the first to trumpet Carson Wentz as a high first-rounder during his final season at North Dakota State, on the fate of the first pick in the 2018 NFL Draft, and on what Cleveland GM John Dorsey might do: "I believe there is no way Cleveland, at number one, will pass on [Wyoming quarterback] Josh Allen. This is Wentz reincarnated. Allen's a perfect Dorsey quarterback. Just watch."

-Peter King

My head would explode if this happened. I see Allen's traits, he certainly has the most potential of this years QB's, I just think he's the worst QB of the bunch.

With that said, I hope he becomes an All Pro because he's a 9ers fan

This. That would be such a disaster in Cleveland but that just means its... well... something Cleveland would do.

No way this happens at number 1. At the 4 pick maybe but why even that high? They could trade down from 4 and clean up and still get him in the teens.

What am I missing here?

Yeah at safety....we're fine there. There's better CBs in this draft imo.

Agreed. If Rosen does stone wall them, they lose face no matter how they spin it. If they take Barkley #1, they can say it was always the plan and take a Baker, Allen, or Jackson at #4...or BPA and roll with Kiser...

Oh man I hope they draft him #1 overall that would be the Brown thing to do....

Ugh I'd more pissed if Rosen ended up in NY

IMO NYG might try to swap for the #1 to secure Rosen. I'm leery of Rosen's makeup, but it makes too much sense to put him with those WRs. Cleveland probably prefers Darnold or Allen and they'd still have their two top 5 picks.

I think they should take Barkley and Jackson honestly. Just run read option with those two and draft defense lol.
This thread every year always gets me so hyped
I've seen Allen play several times the past couple of seasons...while he's had some good moments, overall I haven't come away that impressed. Maybe he's a late bloomer, I don't know, I must be missing something.

Darnold has wowed at times, but has had too many head-shaking moments. Rosen's brilliant at times, but I haven't seen Darnold's leadership in him yet. Two QB's who really impressed me in the bowl games were Mason Rudolph and Trace McSorley. I guess "beauty" or in this case a genuine NFL QB prospect are in the eyes of the beholder.

It's refreshing that we don't have to worry as much bout a QB anymore.

Fitzpatrick is a better player than Vaccaro.
