Bosa gives you the ability to keep the run defense of Thomas outside as well as 1000x the passrush.

Thomas and Arik need to play strictly need to play inside as far as I'm concerned. I would much rather see Street play the BE spot because at least there is a chance he might get to the QB.

AA belongs in a 3-4. Hes just a terrible fit for a 4-3 BE.

100% agreed. And LOL at that play. Where was Armstead anticipating Mahomes was going to go? Absolutely terrible pursuit angle and zero awareness.

I agree that AA shouldn't rush from the outside, but how often do teams pass against our base D? AA brings a lot to the table as a BE and a DT/NT, that's why he was brought back.

I could see that. He's more of the Dee Ford mold than bosa is. Having 2 explosive edge rushers in Ford and Allen could be devastating. Bosa is definitely much more refined and technically sound, but he isn't that explosive edge we look for.

If the niners drafted Ford to be the Leo, I doubt we draft a big end as our first pick. We could get one in...of yeah we have 4 of them on our roster and two were first round picks. If we draft Allen we have a SAM for base packages and also someone to pass rush on nickel and dime package situations.

Allen makes too much sense, gives our defense flexibility and won't put starters on the bench, he just makes our defense so much more solid in all packages.

I think we stay put, don't overthink things and go Allen

They need to sign another pass rusher and draft this dude.

Is that guy plugged in to what the Niners might do? Or is he just another guy throwing his opinion out there?

If we draft Allen, I mean that's a lot of resources put into linebackers. We addressed our LB core in free agency, I think Lynch sticks to foundational players early in the draft.

John Lynch is gonna be like Kevin Costner from Draft Day when he picks Allen with Bosa still on the board lol
