Josh Allen OLB/ILB/DE Kentucky

Will they go with size or speed? I'm inclined to think that they will go after speed. They are adding speed all over the place. Thus, Josh Allen.
Allen is the pick. Unless, only one unless...tell us what's the wonderlick lokkking like. If he's dumb we have to keep looking. Talent and scheme fit it's a done deal, if he dumb tho gotta move on.
In a division with Kyler Murray and Russel Wilson would Josh Allen be a better pick than Nick Bosa?

I think Bc Dee Ford was signed a duo of Bosa and Ford fits better then Allen and Ford, tho a trade back if no Bosa available and Allen is available id run my pick to Goodell..

I think Frank Gore is an example of how the wonderlic is pretty useless. Maybe except for QB. If the guy knows how to play football then that's all that matters.

I agree with the Bear, I can see why you might want a MIKE with a high wonderlic to handle the D calls and adjustments, maybe a Safety to help, but nowhere else on D.

If they chose Allen over Bosa I'll send Lynch and Kyle to moon.

you'd be surprise at how many people prefer allen over bosa.

Insanity I tell you!

I've had people tell me on facebook groups that Allen is way superior because he's more athletic can cover, while they claim bosa is just a passrusher. I even heard someone say sweat is better because he's faster than bosa and just as good of a passrusher.....

Thankfully those people don't work in our FO.

A lot dude. A lot.

"Yeah. To me, Arik's been playing at a very high level. It may not always show up on the stat sheet in terms of pass game and all that stuff. But, when you watch Arik in the run game, he's a very dominant football player. We had back in Seattle [former NFL DT] Red Bryant, if you guys remember, his role was just to eliminate the solid-side run game. Arik does that.

"Yeah, if he's on a tight end, the corner doesn't even have to show up in crack replace. He gets so much knock-back on tight ends and they struggle to block him.

Bryant is an example of a run specialist that doesn't offer any pass rush from the edge.

Keep in mind, Bryant played DE for then BEFORE they got Cliff Avril and Michael Bennett. Once those two came in, the defense in Seattle went to another level. We can potentially do the same with Bosa. The integrity of the run defense isn't sacrificed and you still get a guy that is an elite pass rusher- the best in the draft. You'd also have that three guys in Ford, Buckner, and Bosa that are 3-down players. I just don't see any downside to going with Bosa if he's available, outside of this speculation of what he may do or projection of future injuries.

I agree that we should take Bosa. But I can see why they might take Williams or trade down and take Allen.

VERY good call.

I'm not sure but a lot can happen until the draft happens.

If we picked up another vet ER [not Ziggy] I could see us taking QWill and trading AA or even ST.
Here's where I'm at, I like Allen in any trade down, but not at 2.

Frank gore is capable of all things. We do not use frank gore in comparisons with others

I am not sure how far down you could go and not lose out. Not very far at all, I suspect.
