Roquan Smith, LB, Georgia

Nope, we're taking Joshua Jackson with our first pick and resigning E. Reid. Check out my passing down depth chart.

DE E. Dumervil/ C. Marsh/ D. Armstrong (2nd round pick)
DT D. Buckner/ S. Thomas/ S. Day
LB J. Tartt/ E. Reid
CB J. Jackson/ A. Witherspoon
Slot K. Williams/ J. Ward
Safety A. Colbert

Seriously, McDaniels/Brady would have no clue how to break this puzzle. The entire back 7 can cover and tackle, good luck.

Cute

Cute, but Eric Reid is not moving to LB. Neither is Tartt

Shoot I'm wanting Roquan Smith more now after Foster's arrest. Why can't these damn guys stay out of trouble.
I'd be pretty surprised if he not on the board when the Niners pick. I think we could see as many as four or five QBs taken before our pick plus Barkley, Chubb, an OT and a DT like Payne. I think Gruden will go for a RB like Guice with his pick. Their running game stinks and I know Gruden wants to run a balanced offense.

Is he literally the 2nd NFL player and first rookie to F up this offseason after RR?

I'd have to say so. Frustrating as hell, it's not like he's Brock Coyle.....this is Reuben Foster we talkin bout!!!
In addition to being a stud prospect in his own right, this dude represents Froster injury and Froster knucklehead insurance.

How are you doing, my friend! This is why I had Foster as the second best overall talent in the draft but way down my board. He is simply a guy who is going to continue to get into trouble and spend time on the injury list. Dude is a dad to a 8 or 9 year old girl and is still making stupid mistakes. Not sure if he will ever get it
I was all in for Quenton Nelson but now this development changes things. Hope we win the coin flip. Draft Ro Smith, focus on getting some free agents on the OL and pray that Rueben doesn't go full blown Aldon.

Wasn't the concern with him was his friends in Alabama? That people were saying he needed to distance himself from them?

Yep it was, so the fact that he went and was a idiot anyways is cause for concern. I'm hopeful he learns his lesson

I think 75% of Webzoners are obsessed with matching the Willis/Bowman duo with Foster/R. Smith. We're running an entire different defense, linebackers are less important, cornerbacks are much more important while running single high safety. That's why I say Josh Jackson or Minkah Fitzpatrick in first round.

Nah its just that most of those guys suck or are plain mediocre. Brown has been about as one dimensional as it gets in Washington and that won't fly in this scheme.

This is egregiously incorrect. This scheme is predicated on having good, athletic linebackers. The defense's biggest weakness is the area between the line of scrimmage and the hook/curl zones. what Saleh calls, "the kill zone." This a big reason why Bowman was shown the door. He couldn't chase after those underneath routes and RBs out of the backfield. It's why a premium is put on athleticism in this scheme.
