Moore, Jewell and Warner definitely caught my eye as later targets.

Keep Jewell and that 4.8 40 away from my LB crew lol. Everyone else I'm good with.

Someone put a gif of Jewell on the back pedal lateral drill and tell me he looks slow. Hes a LB... You don't need to run a 4.5 to be good. And no I'm not backing him up cause he's a white boy lol.
sup with this kid Genard Avery

dude dominated the combine

he was in the 80+ percentile in the Broad Jump, Vert, 40, and 3-cone...at 255lbs

All of Jewell's athletic testing was bad. He's not NFL material IMO. don't care about how smooth his back pedal is he's a LB. and he's slow as dirt. This is a sideline to sideline league. And that's not his game.

Not really...he was 2nd in the 3-cone, 8th in the shuttle, he was also fine in the broad and vert. Honestly the only thing he was slow in was the 40

Very interesting player. He had an excellent combine. Dude is built like the classic Fangio ILB. Loose, springy feet with smooth change of direction for a big dude. I like it.

His vert was middle of the pack amongst the linebackers.

Rashann Evans had a 30 inch vert...33 inch is not awful for a ILB man.

Preston Brown ran a 4.89 with a 33 vert
Chris Borland ran a 4.83 with a 31 vert
Vontiz Burfict ran a 5.0 with a 31 vert
Manti Teo ran a 4.82 with a 33 vert
Brandon Spikes ran a 5.09 with a 29 bvert

I fail to see why the 40 and vertical is the end all stat for inside backers.

Last time I checked, when running sideline to sideline you are dodging and disengaging blockers and not running in your underwear.

I don't see any top tier guys

All of those guys are good to decent linebackers and we are talking about a mid round prospect here.
Speed matters a lot in this scheme. Those two inside LB have to defend a lot of grass in coverage. Offenses attack this style of defense with dink-and-dunk strategies that focus on quick-rhythm throws to WR+RBs in the short and intermediate areas. That's the area Saleh refers to as the "kill zone."

Some of the 40 times of LBs teams have drafted for this scheme: Duke Riley (4.58), Deion Jones(4.59), De'Vondre Campbell (4.58), Telvin Smith (4.52)
