He's really good. Check out his game against Notre Dame. Consistently beat on first round tackle Mike McGlinchey.

I don't think it's a weak group. The top 3 have potential to be really solid NFL players (Chubb, Landry, Key if he figures it out, Davenport has big potential but it'll be an uphill battle). Then there are plenty talented day 2 and 3 guys. Likely a couple will emerge as beasts that we kick ourselves for not taking. Like Carl Lawson last year.

We have the quarterback but we need the pass rusher I do not think we will be drafting this high for the next 8 to 10 years so if he falls to five or six I think we need to move up for him. FWIW Mike Mayock says he is a top 5 talent in any draft but only time will tell.

Man, one could make the argument for moving up for Chubb as much as a stockpile trade back and grabbing a top T (who will play G to start). And I'd be happy with both.

High stakes gambling. I'm glad I'm not the 49er GM. Personally I'd trade up for Chubb based on what everybody here has said. I'll gladly pay premium draft capital for an elite edge talent. Once you lock down an elite edge rusher and a franchise QB, man you'll be in the playoffs for multiple years.

It's what stands out the most about him. I legit think he can be a top 10 pass rusher in this league if he develops a better feel for chaining his moves together.

I hope this dude falls to us, out of Nelson and Chubb I see him falling to us but I'd settle for Smith if both are gone. I could still see Chubb falling if other teams reach for quarterbacks

Lol, no way in hell does Chubb fall to us. It's absurd to even contemplate that. Focus your attention on the four that will be there at #9. Smith, Landry, Edmunds and Sutton should be the focus.
