Not saying you haven't but watch one of his full games and look out for this. He doesn't appear to have the crazy instincts you expect from a MLB you're picking at 2. He hesitates really hard on zone reads and play actions . Has a few stutter steps before instead of reading the play correctly and going for the kill. Then he has the injury history. No thanks.

Thank you!!

I have no idea where this notion of "great instincts" comes from. I've seen one, maybe two, plays max in all of his tape that made me say, "Wow, that was a very instinctive play."

Then add in how much easier it is to play your position when you have Jonathon Allen and Dalvin Tomlinson right in front of you. Then you got Tim Williams and Ryan Anderson next to you. With that type of help, you should be running around destroying guys.
What has Hyde done for us? Is he really our future rb?
Can't believe anything leading up to the draft.

Hyde is a free agent after this season, so drafting his replacement might not be a bad idea.

20 yards shy of 1,000 yards with one of the worst group of offense talent in the league around him? Constant stacked boxes with teams knowing we can't throw the ball. How about we give him a qb or a real offensive system?

Good thing this is one of the deepest drafts at RB in 10+ yrs

That is the whole idea and Fournette will be an upgrade too.
If it really comes down to these two only on draft day and we have no chance of trading down. I would rather have Fournette than Foster. Fournette would be an immediate upgrade over Hyde, but Foster won't be an upgrade over an 75% healthy Bowman. Fournette could be a game changer RB and Foster is no where near a game changer LB like Willis, Kuechly, or Lewis

Makes no sense to spend a number 2 on some of our only two strengths. We got Hyde and Bow.

Hyde- last year of contract and has never been healthy a full season.

Bow- he would not replace bow, they would be side by side, remember when willis and bowman were on the same field.

I personally LOVE they want STAR power at the second pick. Fournette would give defensive coordinators fits and our defense would only improve. Last year the middle was wide open with all of the mediocrity at ILB
65 yards a game is 1,000 yards we need a game changer where teams say "oh s**t" we have to play against him....
Fournette

Last I saw LF wasn't even healthy this yr? does his style of running look like it's a fit for ZB? Does his style of running look like he's gonna have a long career? What kind of fits are you talking about? He's a power runner made for gap blocking, which we aren't running AND he wouldn't be on the field 3 downs because he can't pass catch.

Where you playing foster? This isn't a 3-4 so comparing it to Bow/Willis isn't comparable IMO. They just played smith starter money to play the WILL and Bow is without question the MIKE.

I just don't see the fits at all...I'm going Thomas and if not him hooker over these two

Foster I would believe but not Fournette for a second...they know he's the #1 RB so this is trade-back smoke/mirrors.
At 8, I would love either guy. Can't go wrong with either. I just hope we can trade down from #2 and pickup an extra 2nd rd pick......
