What was Paxton's most significant and impressive win? Against Bowling Green (#57 pass D) and Ole Miss (which had the #125 pass defense). And yet you act like Paxton's performance was awesome and Jerod Evans wasnt?

Evans had good comeback wins against Arkansas (#58 pass D) and Notre Dame (#21 pas D).

And as far as the talent Evans had, year sure he had 3 good receivers to throw too. But it was his first year ever playing with them. Also the offensive line was terrible at V-Tech, with the coach constantly shuffling starters. Their only decent starter was Jonathan McLaughlin, who has a terrific 4.82 draft grade by NFL.com.

And Evans also had virtually no rushing game to help him, I think if you factor out when Evans ran the ball, V-Tech had like the 100th ranked rushing offense.

So what your saying is Evans should be drafted in the 1st or 2nd round and he's a much better prospect than Paxton Lynch?

I mean obviously scouts, coaches and GM's base their opinions clearly off stats, correct?

lol wut, I never said Evans should be drafted in the 1st or 2nd. I put Evans as a late 2nd/3rd round talent (not saying he is drafted there) on my big board, and I mocked him getting drafted in the 5th round.

This whole discussion started because you dismissed Evans stats as not being impressive for the offense he was in. And I pointed out his stats are basically the same as Paxton who went in the 1st, thus him not having a higher TD total is inconsequential.

I don't think there is a single poster on this forum that I disagree with more on QBs, lol

I dont even undertand your opinions, like hating on Mahomes and we argued about Air Raid offense. Then you go rave about Falk.....who is in an air raid and even more guilty of the cardinal sin of air raid offense hiding a weak arm.

If really interested, why would Lynch and Shanahan even say anything....what's to gain by saying they have interest in Evans?

Evans aren't impressive, Lynch's stats aren't either, like I praised Lynch's stats or something. I also gave reasons as to why Lynch was drafted in the 1st and they had zero to do with stats.

And funny you bring up my opinion on Mahomes and Falk. Not once did I ever say, hey I don't like Mahomes cause he comes from the Air Raid and then contradict myself and revert back to Falk praising him.

I love how you single me out saying you disagree with me the most on QBs in here. I guess you disagree with Shanahan too? All the QBs he's worked with is everything I want or wanted as a starting QB for the 49ers.

I could give two s**ts about a laser rocket arm 80 yard thrower who can scramble like Mike Vick. Give me a QB that can see the field and pick apart defenses from the pocket. That's what Luke Falk does.

I thought he'd be a 5th or 6th rounder, but he had 2nd round talent if that makes sense. See my mock posted April 7 as proof of where I expected him to be drafted

I think he went undrafted due to character concerns which I'm not in a position to judge

Thinking the same too. Not sure how this guy not only went undrafted, but has yet to be signed to a roster.
