Maybe if pornstars were trying to fight off the guys banging them with their tits lol.

No question pass rushers with longer arms get an advantage but between Lawson and Ingram there are plenty of examples where guys can do a great job of rushing with smaller arms.

Lmao.

NFL scouting departments are typically full of rigid old stiffs who refuse to deviate from their archetypes. They want players who "look the part" and check their boxes.

Yup agree, it's not a deal breaker.
Further examples for the "Landry's arms are too short" crowd.

Joey Bosa's arms are 33 and 3/8s and he's 2 inches taller than Landry
Jared Allen had 32 inch arms
Demarcus Ware had 33 and 1/2 arms

If Landry doesn't turn into a great edge rusher it won't be due to his arm length.
Because all this talk of short arms is funny to me

Tank Carradine has 35" arms
Corey Lemonier 34.5" arms

GOATs

Oh wait, no, they're both garbage because having long arms without technique and acumen is like having a huge peener but only being able to last one stroke.

man people are panicking about landrys arms here and people in the roquan smith thread are complaining about his inability to take on blockers.. its like these guys aren't perfect human beings and have flaws
Von Miller's arms are about a half inch longer than Landry's. If girls were as concerned about an extra half inch as much as some are here, then a lot of guys would be in trouble.

picking in the top 10, you usually want your player to check all the boxes. Someone like Barkley and Nelson are guys that check all the boxes

If he checked all the boxes, he wouldn't be available at 9.

I know the prevailing wisdom is you have to go BPA and not draft need. But with Pass Rushers so hard to find in the draft and Free Agency I just feel like we have to draft whichever one the organization feels like is the best. We have been sorely lacking a pass rusher and it is going to make a huge difference on our defense. Ever other position we can shore up later. But of we can get a guy in Landry (or Davenport) that can generate actual sacks (not pressures) then everything changes. And if it forces QBs to step up in the pocket, oh man Buckner and Solly are going to eat them alive. Either way I don't see how we can pass this year on a solid pass rusher. My vote is for Landry.

Of course last year I felt that you can't make the Seattle style defense work without a badass Safety and we should draft Jamal Adams. 49ers grabbed Solomon Thomas so what do I know.
From NFL.com Draft Profile:

Strengths Lacks height, but arm length makes up for it.
I think the JPP trade might help us a bit as I thought that was one potential landing spot for Landry. I think there is still a scenario where R Smith, Edmunds, and Landry are all available. If that is the case, and there is still a top QB on the board, than I'd even be willing to move down a couple spots and still ensure we get one of these three.
