The Browns draft Myles Garrett, who should the 49ers take?

OT - CAM ROBINSON - ALABAMA (draftbreakdown.com/video/cam-robinson-vs-texas-am-2016) - Against Myles Garrett and Texas A&M.

He pretty much stood his ground, a lot of one-on-one, against the top player in the draft.

It's gotta be Garrett, Trubisky, a huge gap & everyone else in this draft IMO. And I could even be talked into Trubisky over Garrett because I really think he's going to be a great QB.

Trubisky appears to have the least question marks of all the QBs. If he would up to be #1 overall I wouldn't complain too much. You just gotta have a high quality QB in order to attract the rest of the offensive talent you need to be a consistently competitive team.

Yeah he really handled a one-legged Myles Garrett.

Also after getting arrested in the offseason, no way this guy is happening for the 49ers.

He obviously wasn't one-legged; Also, the offseason issue hasn't seemed to damper his draft stock amongst analysts.

Here is some information on that whole case: http://www.al.com/alabamafootball/index.ssf/2016/06/attorney_reveals_new_details_i.html.

We're going tackle dude. Myles is ours! Now go sign Ingram/Jones as well and we're set at OLB.

A trade or signing a good vet we plan on starting would be the only reason we trade back. Otherwise we take trubisky. They may not be rated top ten but it wouldn't shock me if 3 qbs went top ten this year
I'd take Fournette in that case. I just don't think any of the QBs deserve to be taken so high. 49ers have already drafted so many lineman. And there are no clear cut can't miss studs at any other position. 49ers desparately need some firepower on offense, and Hyde is hurt a lot. Hyde and Fournette would be a great duo.

I don't really like taking RBs so high, because they tend to burn out fast, but this team really needs some juice.

No matter who the Browns take, the smart move for our new GM is to trade down. He can get 3-4 picks minimum...there isn't any pick at #2 who can beat that.

But it's better to get one impact player than a bunch of crap.

This. Quality>>>>quantity.

I would take the bpa if garret is gone. We have so many holes taking a day one starter is a good thing. I personally prefer we rebuild the defense. Hell, I wouldn't mind loading up on defense this draft, but we have no idea who the GM or coach will be so - blah!

We are so bad I expect another top ten pick next year so just gotta draft really well and get these kids on the field - go after a qb next year.

Your logic makes no sense. We may have no quarterback next year and you want to draft defense?

Edit - Also for clarification, we've gone defense with our 1st round pick for the past four years. (Buckner, Armstead, Ward, Reid) How's that panned out for us? I get it, if Myles Garrett is available we take him but he probably won't be so defense makes no sense to me. Our offense sucks outside of Carlos Hyde and some offensive linemen.

I make perfect sense when you realize all these picks have been by a joke of a front office and GM. If Baalke stays do you have any optimism in this next draft?! I don't.

If they believe a franchise qb is there take him , but don't overvalue one because you need one. Otherwise build a championship defense like we had 5 years ago.
Garrett will be a 49er.
They will not take anyone at #2. They will let the time expire on the clock because they will be too busy re-watching those awesome week 16 highlights!

This. Maybe if we drafted in the 10-15 range but even then I'd rather take Williams, Davis or Foster
