Staley still has a firm 2 years left, I say 3,even if 3rd year isn't great. Imo you don't waste a guard like Williams, which isn't a guarantee to work and get cute so he eventually takes over a tackle spot 3 years later. Imo guys. UNLESS, we're planning on moving on from Brown by off season 2019 when he's a FA IF he doesn't get extended.

How so? He's considered a top talent who had some struggles due to injury this year.

There's also far superior talent available and while no one is truly a finished product, outside of the QBs, Williams is a lot further away than the other guys (Batkley, Nelson, Ridley, Smith, Jackson, Chubb). At least one of those guys will be available at 9 or 10.

Wouldn't it make the most sense to draft a guy who already excels at guard in that scenario? Draft a tackle to develop over time.

How come there isn't more concern about this (note: i am a Longhorn ex). But cripes, there are over 16-18 OLs in first 3 rds, pretty much by acclimation, so why not take a guy who is an OG? I get moving him to RT when joe hangs it up, but seriously, why no more fans listening to really good advice fRom PHX?

And like he says, draft an OT and develop over time. Just not in favor of drafting a guy we have to start who is an OT, and sticking him in at OG. Way too many good choices better than that.

This guy looks like an awesome RG to me.

This kid would be a great fit here. Either as a tackle or guard. If we trade Trent Brown I think we end up getting Williams somewhere in the draft

At this point I think the 3 I want are Landry, Smith or Williams (if he can play OT at a high level down the road)

This guy went on to say he was bullied throughout his life. Bad thing to bring up IMO after the whole Jonathan Martin thing. Dont want a 6'5 monster that gets pushed around.

Edit: Actually, after seeing his interview, he does seem to be a bit timid. Here's hoping he develops thick skin instead of going J-Mart.
