Watson is a reckless runner that makes a lot of big plays with his legs and on broken plays. NFL is too strong and too fast for his game. I imagine that's why kiper has him as a mid- rounder. Not to mention 30 ints in 36 college games **reckless** He has a hail mary's chance of becoming an NFL starter beyond 2-3 years.

Rudolph doesnt process info quickly and Watson with double digits INTs does?Watson whole college career was plagued by bad decisions leading to bad INTs.
This year was even worse.
So why the question again:
Why Watson will be better than Rudolph?
Trubinsky is another story.
The problem is that he is one year starter and need more development.

Good look at a lot of those INTs you can easily take 10 off the board based on poor plays from his WRs and if you don't believe go look for yourself.
Like I said I don't like masons slow release and the fact that he dependent of this WRs...I also do like what I saw from him in that Oklahoma game last week, not seen the playing big in big moments from him....don't hate him at all would rather have Watson that's all, especially in chips offense.

If his INT ratio is "reckless" then Winston was straight s**t in college, he had 28 INTs with almost 270 LESS attempts then him...he went 1 overall lol.

But he had the NFL size. Watson has won me over but it still wouldn't surprise me if he fell.

Drew Brees, Russell Wilson, Dak Prescott, Derek Carr, Andy Dalton, Tyrod Taylor....etc, if Watson is 6'2" and he can put on some good weight through a strength training program, he'll be fine. If the 49ers were able to trade up into the first from the 2nd and take him after taking Garrett with their first pick, then that is just a win-win situation.

Browns have a 2nd pick in the first that could be around 10 depending on how Philly finishes. The browns could end up with Garrett and Watson without needing to trade.
