Mike Williams (WR Clemson)

a first and a second does not equate to a top 3 pick. they would have to give up a lot more.

using the jimmy johnson trade value chart:

our current spot(#2) is worth 2600;tenn's current spot (#7) is worth 1500=short 1100 pts

the VERY first 2nd round pick(pick #33) is worth 580 pts. if tenn had 33rd pick, which they don't, they're still short about 520, which equates to another very early 2nd round pick.

the titans would have to give up BOTH of their first round picks(currently #7 and #15) for our first-round pick.

in short, it's not happening, especially not for a DL/hybrid S.

Titans don't have a 2nd either...and I agree no team is giving up two 1st for anyone outside of a qb.

Erm, assuming Kaepernick walks at season's end I rather think you will find QB is, by a mile, our weakest position. I don't mind taking Garrett if he is available as he looks like the best player in the draft, but then weave to pick up a high rated QB prospect. Receivers can come later.

Just read Mike Williams is being compared to Andre Johnson which is a high praise..Johnson never had great QB play and hes a HOFer in my eyes..for years it was between Johnson and Fitzgerald for top WR in the league..

Yeah dabo said he's a more complete wr then Watkins and Hopkins coming out of college...Clemson produces some good WRs.

I Think whoever gets either of Davis or Williams is getting a future star, unfortunately I cant see the niners getting either one unless a trade down, it would be way too far to trade up bc I'm expecting both to got top 17..maybe better..

I don't think it would be too much to move up to 17 with our 2nd (basically a late 1st) one of our 4ths this yr and a 4th or 3rd next yr.

Depends on FA of course, id be fine to leave this draft with like 5 players.

I'm ok with moving up but in no way should the niners trade their 1st or 2nd next year to..and I agree I'm tired of drafting 10 players and 4 of them actually play, 2 sit the bench or PS, 2 go on IR, and 2 get cut and sign with Seattle lol

No they'd be trading there 2nd and 4th this yr and either a 3rd or 4th next.

I'm not a fan of reading future picks but I can live with a lost 4th or 3rd...to get one of those WRs.

I agree, a dream for me would be somehow getting Watson and Williams but they are both going top 10..maybe better..

"And I think the only thing he lacks is rare top-end speed. He's got everything else," the executive concluded. Williams drew comparisons to Demaryius Thomas and Alshon Jeffery from another evaluator. We think Williams is certainly fast enough and will not be limited by testing times, and most of all his ability to win on back shoulder throws or contested situations stands above the rest.

you think it would be crazy say if Garrett went 1st and the niners didn't think a QB was worthy of the 2nd pick and tooke Williams..? is 2nd overall too early for this kid..? bc I'm saying all I read ppl are comparing him to legit number 1 wrs that I wish the niners had a shot at..
