The Niners are NOT in a position to take a character issue player on day 1 or 2.
They have such a talent deficit, they need their early pocks to pay off. Maybe a team with SB aspirations could take a chance on Williams, but thats not us.

I'm not touching this dude til maybe the 3rd round.
Takk McKinley
TJ Watt
Hasoon Reddick
Hell i'd take his teammate over him in Anderson
All those guys would be preferred options in the 2nd round.

Welp Tim Williams will possible be a steal in the Draft.. Was just reported on that he failed multiple drug tests at Alabama.... He will defiantly fall down the draft hard

Yup, that's been known for awhile. Big part of the reason this thread is pretty dead.

If I were John Lynch id move up from 34 and snag him in a heartbeat To get that 5th year on him. . All these guy's are saying we need stars that's what Tim Williams is he's an instant impact player. Sure he has his question marks but if he matures he could be a great player. . I do understand these guy's saying no way but at the same time I dont. He has made mistakes but you gotta think these are just kids out here I have matured with age and most of these guy's will as well... not all but most will. .

Tim Williams has the most explosive burst off the edge out of anyone in the draft. Unfortunately he is a character red flag. I think he'll be there at 34 because of this.

Had a private workout for the 49ers. They're not afraid to bring in guys with character concerns in these pre-draft visits

Lynch just sent an implicit message: We're not dealing with any BS. With all the issues surrounding Tim Williams, I can't envision Lynch drafting him.
Sucks because the kid has talent. I don't expect Lynch to gamble on anyone with any sort of off-the-field or character issues. Not this year, at least.
