Myles Garrett it is.
.......and then with the second pick in the 2017 NFL Draft the San Francisco 49ers select defensive back from Michigan Jabrill Peppers.

The Eagles realized there was a massive gaping need in the team, that being a a franchise QB. They did their analysis and also realized the QB class in 2017 will not be as strong as 2016, so strategically they decided to pull the trigger.
Garrett is this year's draft, not last year, but tell me who would you have picked at No.2 overall? You think the Eagles screwed up then? I don't think so somehow, but hey that's just me.
I think the 2017 class is better and deeper. 3 guys could go top 10. Wentz has looked okay, Goff hasn't taken a snap and a 4th round pick in Dak has played well. Other than that, 2017 looks a lot more promising

If that is the case, then you guys might as well root to keep Baalke, I am pretty sure given the choice he would pick Garrett over any QB even if he was Andrew Luck.
Garret is the right choice if he's there
There doesn't need to be a Luck. Both Watson and Tribusky are looking really good right now and we need a franchise QB to build the team around.

even you said yourself you need to watch more cause you don;t know.
If Miles is there then we get him. if not i wouldn't mind on Biscuit or even taking a shot with Peppers. But overall these QBs are not worth high picks

Bro, watch Watson's last game. He is legit. Right now, I am down to him and Tribusky, not in any particular order just yet. Kizer is definitely out for me, the kid is way overrated and consistently under-throws plus he has a huge wind-up like Kap.

In this league, you need a QB to win. People used to say, hey look at Denver blah, blah, blah, well as proven now they couldn't get passed the Raiders tonight. Is all about having a balanced roster on both sides of the ball. And in this case, the Broncos definitely and desperately needs a proper QB. Sure, Denver has Miller, etc, but they finally realized they just couldn't get it done even with such a top D unit alone.
Another example, just look at how the Cowboys are doing now with Dak Prescott. We even have a thread here trying to find out how the NFL has managed to miss on the guy. Again, to my point, you need a proper QB to win. For Dallas, that guy used to be Romo, but not anymore. Even the Browns, they have been very close in a few games, and again no QB. You didn't think RG3 was going to work out, did you? You don't think Sashi Brown is probably crapping in his pants right now having opted to hand over Carson Wentz to the Eagles on a silver platter and yet the Browns is yet to win a game? Again like I said, you need a QB to win in this league.
The debate is not about whether the likes of Watson or Trubisky is Myles Garrett. Is about the absolute need of a QB in any team (even when you already have a top D like Denver) in order to win ball games.

They did what? You mean with Peyton Manning? And the moment they play a decent team like the Raiders they fall short once they don't have a QB anymore? They have been overtaken by the Raiders in AFC West, bro. The Raiders is the better team with a better and more balanced roster on both sides of the ball plus they are coming into their own.
Dude, you can have an edge rusher with as much impact as Miller, but in a team like ours it won't matter much. For the 9ers to win games, we need to be able to put up points first before we talk about anything else. Sure, we need players pretty much in all positions, but as we start to rebuild we must start by trying to win ball games. And to be able to score points, you need skilled players on the offensive side of the ball with QB being the most critical position.
Trust me, get a legit franchise QB and build the team around him. This isn't some foreign nor novel football concept that I have just invented. It's been around since there was football. Is football 101.

It's a win-win with Garrett if we draft a quarterback that really and miss then your whole theory goes right out the door and would drafting another one next year

We can't pass on Garrett if he's on the board. He's the best player in the draft. If we can strike gold by going Garrett first and a QB in the second similar to Mack & Carr a few years back, or even Aldon & Kap, I think that's a good risk to take. Trade Torrey Smith too..

You take the best player, and Garrett is easily the best player on the board. Andrew Luck is not in this draft.
Sorry bro, I am pretty much sure the Browns might beg you differ. Once again only the Cleveland Browns can cock it up by handing Carson Wentz away on a silver platter. If I was Sashi Brown, I would be crapping in my pants. And I am also pretty much sure that Carson Wentz wasn't the best player on the board.
Listen, you can't just go blind and draft BPA without context all the time.
There's no such thing as "blind BPA." There's just BPA because there isn't a QB in this draft who is head-and-shoulders better than anyone else.
Kizer will probably go #1 overall, but I'm starting to think Falk might even be better. There isn't one guy who stands out above the rest.
Garrett, on the other hand, is the best defensive prospect since 2011.
And I don't think Wentz is all that good. I'd take Garrett over Wentz.
