QB or Garrett

It will all depend on what the team does in FA. If we trade for, let's say, Garoppolo, our main targets will be Garrett, Allen, Foster or even Fournette.

There's no such thing as "blind BPA." There's just BPA because there isn't a QB in this draft who is head-and-shoulders better than anyone else.

Kizer will probably go #1 overall, but I'm starting to think Falk might even be better. There isn't one guy who stands out above the rest.

Garrett, on the other hand, is the best defensive prospect since 2011.

And I don't think Wentz is all that good. I'd take Garrett over Wentz.

If the Pats let us trade for Garoppolo they will definitely ask for the world. So far, he has shown he has the potential to be Tom Brady's successor. You think they will just take a 2nd round pick for the kid? I don't think so somehow.

You are missing the point, the point is Carson Wentz didn't have to be the absolute best or even 2nd best player on the board.

The Eagles realized there was a massive gaping need in the team, that being a a franchise QB. They did their analysis and also realized the QB class in 2017 will not be as strong as 2016, so strategically they decided to pull the trigger.

Garrett is this year's draft, not last year, but tell me who would you have picked at No.2 overall? You think the Eagles screwed up then? I don't think so somehow, but hey that's just me.

Baalke will pick either Myles Garrett or Will Gleeson

Brady isn't slowing down and has stated he wants to play for another three or four years. I don't think Garoppolo is going to be content being a backup knowing he could get the starting gig for many other teams and land himself a nice contract. Also Belichick won't pay top money for a backup QB or any other player for that matter. So, a second rounder (practically a late first) would be a good deal for the Pats considering they won't get zip if Garoppolo tests free agency.

Really because we have holes everywhere.... and missing on a qb that early can set you back 4 years easy. No qb in this draft will make an impact like Garrett will. He is a generational player.

There doesn't need to be a Luck. Both Watson and Tribusky are looking really good right now and we need a franchise QB to build the team around.

I think the 2017 class is better and deeper. 3 guys could go top 10. Wentz has looked okay, Goff hasn't taken a snap and a 4th round pick in Dak has played well. Other than that, 2017 looks a lot more promising
